Had to ask my husband to come in and help me find mouse traps, not one person greeted me until I was going up and down each aisle, mind you it was a guy in the back room. Lucky my husband is a frequent customer. I felt unwelcome in there for the first time ever. What happened!?!

I just stopped in the bay city location after work for a couple of nuts and bolts for my boat trailer and a heater for my pole barn and I must say I have never been treated so badly by the older employee with the mustache, glasses and a limp in my life. He had a attitude from the time he started to help me and talked to me like I didn’t know what I needed. The two younger kids working are great employees and have always helped me in the past that I have been in. I’m a avid customer at this local hardware and always have chose this place over a big box hardware store. Can’t say I will ever be back in the future. I’m just a little disappointed in the customer service I received this after noon. Thank you your local South end shopper.

Horrible Covid practices. Just left the Corunna and Dye store. Employees all mask less. Never going back. EDIT-I emailed the company. They contacted me to say that things at this store have been straightened out. I went back to purchase lightbulbs and everything was as it should be. Good on them.

Covid casual! Walked in with mask, 4 employees standing by the door, zero maskers! I remarked mask free zone; Reply was - A Free America. Was escorted to the item I was looking for, and had to ask him to step back. No social distancing either! Reading other reviews, this is not the only statement regarding this store, in this matter. As I was searching for the corporate website, I noticed other reviewers with same complaint, towards other locations. May return, but no time soon. Maybe not , bad taste in management, local and corporate!

Yesterday, I saw an employee wearing a confederate flag t-shirt. The confederate flag is a racist symbol and should NOT be worn by employees. No political or ideological affiliation should be shown while on the clock. If I was a black person and came into the store and saw an employee wearing a shirt glorifying and praising people who betrayed the USA for slavery, I would have felt so uncomfortable and would have walked out. If I could give this store negative stars, I would.

Just was told to leave because “if they have to wear masks everyone does”... after lying and saying it’s The Law....

I would like to thank Mike, the Montrose Gill-Roy’s manager, for selling P-100 respirators to my coworker, they were distributed here at work where they’re desperately needed. We work at a local Emergency Department, and we are exposed to covid-19 almost continually while on shift trying to care for our community. These are not only essential for keeping us safe from this virus, but it also gives us and our families peace of mind that we are actually adequately protected. THANK YOU
