My coworker brought in a wrap with the word vegan written on the saran wrap around it. I had little interest in actually eating it (she gave it to me, I wasn't stealing) because I have been a pretty diligent carnivore for the past 30 years. After several hours and a few belly grumbles I decided to give it a try. What's the worst that could happen yanno? Turns out I could swap to vegan tomorrow if I ate one of those wraps every day! I have no clue what was in it other than cucumbers and onions, but it was unbelievable. Even inspired me to leave a review. Good on you, local grocer.

They have some fun local michigan products but the place is rather empty. Farmer's market booth is better.

I found this store to be an interesting visit, and would recommend anyone in the area to give it a try at least once!I went on a Monday morning, and the staff were working on getting things staged for the week. The store was a little understocked, and a little messy.There are lots of Michigan products here,some that I would not have found at the local Kroger, Mejers, or Walmart. Frozen meats like whole duck, ground bison, and even ground boar!I ended up picking up a bag of Flint Coffee, which is roasted in the shop above the building!If you're ever in the area and what to check out something neat, this is a great store to stop in and see.

After an exhaustive search and a few failed attempts to score a carton of C.F. Burger Creamery's Old Fashioned egg nog; I found one carton left at The Local Grocer. I thought that I wasn't going to have any this Christmas as it's the 21st of December as of today. So I was super charged to find out they had one carton left in stock. Thank you for carrying this product.
