The store is a gem in the heart of Flint. For those of us wanting a more natural way of life this is where you want to shop. The PH water will make you stop buying bottled plastic water. The variety of homemade soups are delicious and washing it down with one of their lemonades will end you day with delight. They also, have a rack outside, with free items for those in need in the community.

I've been purchasing Alkaline water from this store for years. The new owners bought the place about a year ago, and that store has only improved! Their staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful.

I love it here! I haven't been around to the store long, never met the previous owners so I can't say how the store was before. But as a vegan, and so little options around the area, The Grainery literally has everything I need. From food, herbs, drinks to supplements. The staff is amazing and so is the service they provide. I go a few days out the week and won't be stopping any time soon. Thank you to the new ownership, my visits have been more than pleasant.

Love this store, the employees are amazing, small family run business. The alkaline water is the best, the owner is very up to date on any new products, she will also accommodate you by walking you through the alkaline water process and show you everything that comes with it. I will be buying my alkaline water at The Grainery from here on out.

What a fantastic company. I had heard some rumors that the alkaline system wasn't up-to-date. I merely mentioned it. And the staff was super accommodating.
They took me for a tour to see their system, which starts at the water main and is filtered 3 times and then at each sink is another filtration, and then where the water comes from that they sell goes through a 9 plate alkaline ionizer. I was so impressed that they were willing to show me and explain every step of the process. Such an educated staff!!

I stopped going there because the previous owner and his wife were absolutely dreadful. Their sister was nice but the two of them were condescending, arrogant and just flat out mean. I think the husband hates women and the wife was always short with you the exchange between she and I was always passive aggressive.
The new owners are knowledgeable, welcoming and accommodating. They are truly a breath of fresh air and I’m excited I can begin patronizing this establishment again.

I wasn't gonna write a review but this is really bothering me! I went to have my 4 jugs refilled and the guy refilled 2 in less than 2 min, brought them out with water running all down both jars, then like 2 min later brought my other ones up front and said you're all set! I said you filled those really quick he said yeah we got a new system that kinda just pushes it in there quickly! The other 2 jars had more water running down them than the 1st 2! This is unexceptionable! And they just went up on the water April 1st! At least be honest and not give me sink water!!! So unhappy about this! I've watched them refill my bottles and it takes time to fill a jug! If you're not gonna be honest, dry the bottles off before bringing them up front! I hate greed and dishonesty! Everything here is well overpriced! After coming here for many years, I'm done! I started to take 2 bottles to have them refilled, and watch them like usual, instead of staying upfront talking to the girl! But I would be furious to find out he was not honest on my last visit!
