The adult doctors don't believe anything you say they act like they don't know anything. The pediatrician is ok she actually ask us question. When you call to make an appointment they are lazy, rude, they don't give the right information and the act like they don't know anything not help at all.

I was seen for the first time by the Dental clinic yesterday. It was a 10:30 AM appointment with the dentist. It is the policy there that you cannot make an 'appointment' for the dentist and the hygienist on the same day. However, after seeing the doctor I was allowed to make an appointment for a cleaning for 95 minutes later, 1:40 PM. I waited outside until the appointed time only to be told that my appointment had been given to someone else, and they had moved me to 3:30 instead. It was obvious that my custom and time was not important as no one even bothered to call to inform me of the change. Not to mention that they deemed someone else's business more important. The staff was very nice enough. I cannot say as much for the flavor of their office policies/politics. Devaluing customers is not good business practice.

This event occurred at the Lapeer Branch of Hamilton Clinic. Back in September 2020, I was desperate for medical care and completely uninsured. I went here because they offer reduced office rates for low-income patients. Sure, the doctor was nice but the staff was miserable. I asked about prices for procedures as a low income person. It was like pulling teeth! They refused to give me answers on how much their services costed. I got two vaccines, which I had no problem paying for but was pressured into getting a PAP Smear. I broke down and got the PAP Smear. I had specifically asked Dr. Mann if I would have to pay. I was directed to filling out a charity form for women's health so they would cover the test. I then asked what happens if I get denied. I was told that I was not going to have to pay for it and would not get denied. Well, I now have a $300 dollar bill for Quest Diagnostics, completely unexpected because a doctor told me a service would be taken care of. Great service? Yeah right!
