Superb Customer Service!! We absolutely LOVE this place!! Each person we have ever spoke with, whether it's to purchase furniture or to inquire on a warranty is amazing. We truly appreciate Godwin's and the way they take care of us each time we've stepped into the store. Thank you all for being rock stars. Keep up the amazing performance.

My wife and I shopped here during Labor Day sales, and the selection was not as big as I expected. Could've been the sale, but the only couch we liked was a lay z boy which was priced like a used truck.

It actually took me awhile to write this review because of how irritated I was after buying a couch here and I wanted to forget about it all.1.) I ordered a couch on Black Friday here from Lazyboy. The first problem I encountered was that they put out an ad in the paper for the sale and then you get into the store and they are priced a few hundred dollars over the ad they have advertised everywhere. So make sure you bring the ad with you to get the price.2.) After Lynn sold me the couch she never followed up. The couch came in 6 months late and I had to ask for updates. When you spend a few thousand dollars on an item you would expect better customer service.3.) I opted to pickup my couch to save on the delivery fee. It was a sectional and I own 2 trucks. No big deal to pick it up. EXCEPT I picked it up from Saginaw then get it all in my basement to unbox and one of the pieces was the wrong couch. They did not check it before they gave it to me (they wrapped all the boxes so I assumed they checked).4.) I call the Saginaw location to let them know what happened. They said not sure if we can refund it. Call the store you ordered it from tomorrow. Mind you I spent around 3000 on this couch and they made it seem like it was to late to fix. I was pretty furious at this point.5.) I call the Flint store the next day and let them know what happened. Lynn was off but they offered to pickup the couch for free and return my money. Weird they can do free pickup/delivery suddenly, but when my couch comes in 6 months late that’s not an option.6.) When I go in to get my refund Lynn tells me “I’m not sure why they didn’t offer to rush order the piece that was incorrect.” Great idea, would have been nice to get that offer.7.) While I’m being refunded this mouthy sales associate in her 60-70s with short brown hair tells me I have no right to be unhappy because it could happen to anyone.I sincerely hope you choose to shop somewhere else after reading my experience. I ended up with a couch from Costco the same day for a 1/4 of the price and it’s held up very well. I wish you the best of luck if your are unfortunate enough to order anything from here.

Had chairs delivered. They unloaded all three chairs into the garage as it was snowing. I didn't go out to the garage for about a month and then saw that my riding mower grass chute was cracked. The only thing that could have done that is either they sat a chair on it or they stepped on it. The fact that they didn't say anything is worse than the fact they did it. I will not go to Godwin's again.

Ron(pretty sure that was his name) was super helpful and not at all pushy or annoying like you get at some furniture stores. I took an obnoxious amount of time picking out my perfect chair and he was extremely helpful (checking prices and fabric options etc) and patient. Plus they had a large amount of furniture at good prices.

3 stars was given because Godwins Furniture stood behind Lazyboy's furniture when Lazyboy wouldn't even attempt to fix the problem with their own products, if Lazyboy had even attempted to stand behind their product Godwins and Ron Bruff would have received a 5 star rating Ron Bruff was nice to deal with , very polite and somewhat knowledgeable he was not pushy or a hovering salesperson that makes people feel pleasured , Ron Bruff gave us space to talk about the purchase and when we decided he went to work and got us the best deal he could, thank You Ron , we spent $7,094.72 on Lazyboy living room furniture on 11-22-2022 and took delivery of furniture on 1-31-2023 ,we noticed immediately that the wall huggers that we ordered were not wall huggers so I called Ron and was assured that he ordered wall huggers and asked me to call another number and have a Godwins service technician come and measure them, the gentleman who scheduled the appointment said over the phone that if ordered in power it it doesn't matter if it is a wall hugger or not it will have to sit 12 inches from the wall, I called Ron and he said 5 to 6 inches maybe but not 12 inches, February 10th service technician showed up and said he didn't know the difference between the wall hugger or a non wall hugger, on February 11th we got an email from Amber Godwin that states that they shouldn't have to be more than 5 or 6 inches from the wall but meanwhile Lazyboys website says 4 inches is all that is required, a lady from Godwins called me today 2-14-2023 and said that the repair technician said that the chairs worked just fine and there was nothing wrong with them even though we paid extra for wall huggers and did not receive them but the non wall hugger loveseat that we also purchased only sits 3.5 inches from the wall and fully reclines. We will contact Godwins and Lazyboy tomorrow and update this review but at this moment I would not recommend Godwins as an honest company. Update 2-15-2023 spoke with a lady at Lazyboy today and was told that our chairs should sit no more than 5 inches from the wall but there was nothing that Lazyboy could do to fix them for the first year and that I would have to deal with Godwins, 2-17-2023 spoke with Ron Bruff and immediately he said that they would exchange them for whatever I chose to replace them with and received full credit for the special ordered chairs so we did that and I also have to say that I would highly recommend Godwins Furniture for standing behind their customers even though this problem rest solely on Lazyboy Furniture for not building their furniture correctly and then not standing behind their own products, I will never purchase another piece of Lazyboy furniture and I would warn people to think twice about a company that doesn't support their own products.

We had the best experience out of all the furniture stores we went to. Maryann was awesome and made us comfortable, she let us think about what we wanted, and answered all our questions. She has excellent customer service skills. We will be back because of her!

Way PRICEY. salesman give a price. Absolutely no discount offered. I came to Godwin's because the store looked clean and therr was a good selection to pick from. Won't be back unless you can do something with your high prices.

Bought a 2000.00 Lazyboy sofa. Started pilling right away. They replaced cushions and it did it again. No one at Lazyboy or Godwins would do anything. Very dissatisfied and disappointed.
