Such a fun place to watch good hockey for low cost.Seats are nice and comfortable (actually look and feel like they might have once been in the Palace of Auburn Hills) and in great shape.Every seat is "lower bowl" so right in the action.Concessions are actually reasonable for a sports venue.

Love coming here for events. Comic con, and the firebirds are my favorite. Clean, friendly staff and just great times.

It's a great place for events food is good and have a lot of vendors to choose from. The hockey glass sucks when your down at ice level and you can't see the plays the way the glass has a deflection look to it

Dort Financial has put a lot of money into improvements since taking over the arena. The arena is far superior, technically speaking, to the DOW, where The Saginaw Spirit play. All in all, at least for Firebirds games, it's a great place to see the game. Biggest cons right now are the congested/slow concessions, and the parking lot could use some work. Hopefully Flint turns around this poor start to the 23-24 season as well.

I'm from Flint, and my son-in-law and grandson invited me to come with them last weekend. Been few yrs since I have been in the Civic center..we were trying to find our seats bottom section #16 and the guy(He was No gentlemen!) Who guards the section,Seeing I had my 4yr old grandson with me..he was extremely rude to all of us. then when I went to get popcorn and $100 worth of food and drinks and dropped another at the sports store. He's just a mean grumpy older guy that shouldn't be working around children and ladies. So it started out bad but the game was great!WE ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ OUR FLINT ? FIREBIRD'S ❣️❣️And it was a nice and clean arena ??

Having gone here since I was a kid for the Flint Spirits and the Shrine Circus, it is a staple in this community. My family and I love going, and it brings great memories to be there. Things such as my daughter’s graduation and last night’s Firebirds game, it’s always a great time. The updates since the acquisition of the Palace amenities, make it even nicer.

Great place to watch the Firebirds play. Not a bad seat in the house.

Was a vendor at the 2023 comic-con.Sunday, a partial power outage occurred on the lower floor where the vendors were. No one knew what was going on even though they claimed 20 people were working on it. Really put a damper on the show. People were trying to shop by flash light. Half the lights were out, and the elevator was closed down. It was very disappointing.

I came here for Comic Con, and had a really good time I just wish it was more organized as to where everything was.

Went during really cool con and it was alright until the power went out and no one there knew where the breaker box was. Seems like they need someone in that building that knows where stuff is ?.

The upgrades to the facility over the last few years have made it a no-brainer for my family, friends and I to become, and remain, season ticket holders. The seats (removed from the Palace of Auburn Hills prior to its demolition) are very comfortable, and the eye candy for the LED banners and scoreboard are quite nice. The bathrooms could use some love (and perhaps some warm water for hand washing) but they've done well at improving the facility exponentially in the nearly 30 years since I played there as a kid.

The hockey itself is a lot of fun, the OHL is one of the best Jr Hockey leagues in the world and Flint is lucky to have them. The arena has been improved so much under the Firebirds ownership, it's a nice place to watch a game.Word of advice, bring a hoodie or jacket, it is chilly in the arena. The parking lot could be a little better, and sometimes some of the lights are off when exiting the arena after the game, but overall the arena is great.
