I have used them before for my rear wheel bearings on my 2009 Jeep Wrangler and they started to leak, I asked them to help me out on the price since I have spent $3000 in a few month's on new front axels and whole brake job, they did the work and helped me on the price along with doing the rear brakes. Thanks to all the employees there, a fine bunch of guys.

Transmission went out on my 2013 Focus back in May. I first called Semmens Transmission and they told me that I would have to take it to the dealership to get it fixed. I then called Cottman's transmission and they told me that all I would need was a clutch kit and they could fix it for me. The repair was expensive but they allowed me to make payments and when I had it all paid off, they had my vehicle fixed within two business days. I really appreciate the great quality work done on my vehicle and how fast it was done. Although it was expensive, I know that I still saved a lot of money by taking it to Cottman's instead of the dealership. Thank you so much and God bless!

Top notch service coupled with far pricing! Robbie was the best! He kept me informed on the progress and sent me pictures of the damaged parts. His knowledge of my transmission was impressive. Additionally, Burt was very helpful, even though he was always helping someone on the phone at the same time. Busy is the one word I would use to describe this place. Now you will need to be patient but the quality of work is worth it. Thanks for doing a great job!

I've had a few jobs done here and was satisfied with their work. I also referred my sister who had a major job done and even received a follow up call to see how things were going. I thought I'd found a permanent place for most of my car needs. I called requesting a service that is listed on the website and spoke with an older male. He told me I needed to take my car somewhere else because their main work is on transmissions. That was disappointing! I asked where he suggested I take it and he told me American Auto. I took my car there, again thinking I'd find a place for all my car repair needs. I got an estimate that totaled nearly $4k!! Now I was disappointed as well as frustrated. Other than encountering the slightly grouchy older man, I would have given Cottman's 5 stars. Still looking for a good car repair shop!!

The gentlemen here are extremely helpful and kind. They found a dangerous issue on my vehicle that I was unaware of and fixed it. It’s hard to find repair shops that care about your safety when you leave the shop. HIGHLY recommend!

Dropped truck off Jan. 2 to have my 98 dodge work truck transmission and transfer case rebuilt, told me after 23 days in their shop it was finished, picked it up and next day had it back cause they didn't tighten exhaust good enough and had to put shift bracket on right, get it back next day no 4wheeldrive so take it back 2 days later tell me I need an actuator to make 4wheel drive work, which they knew it never worked in first place. W

Worst Mistake EVER! Never go here!!!!! I will be taking them to court. wouldn't give me paperwork on the transmission they claimed to have put in may car, gave me 3 different mileages on the transmission just awful people I still don't know what transmission is in my car. His Hitchmen BURT is an Jerk and would never let me speak to the owner when I started having the problem.

Awesome service. I had my car another shop that had it for 3 weeks and finally said they couldn't fix it. When I called Cottman, they initiated open communication right away from letting me know when my vehicle had arrived until it was finished. I even called almost a year later for an invoice, and they had it ready and waiting for me. If you are looking for a transmission place that has great communication and does great work, this is the place. I've dealt with them in the past and should have taken my vehicle there from the beginning.

Hands down the best automotive shop I've been to. After calling multiple ones to fix my transmission this was the only one that didn't give me a wait time to bring it in of 2 weeks. Incredibly reasonable pricing and thorough knowledge of the inner workings of my vehicle. Fantastic staff and mechanics, Robbie went above and beyond to make it perfect. He even helped me with other mechanical issues not transmission related. 10 outta 10 will be back here for any future issues even oil change and recommending to everyone I know!

Ownership is terrible, both Rob and Robbie tried to lie to me multiple times. They gave me a parts quote of $130 and then tried to charge me $450 for parts. They told me there were no after market parts, which was a lie, they refused to take a part out of the car that I didn’t authorize. They charged me full price for labor and didn’t finish the job. They gave me a hard time for taking my car back. At the end I dealt with Robbie who was even more unprofessional than Rob was. They will try to cheat you out of money, do not use them for your auto repair.

Nothing but great things to say about this company and family.Don't take your transmission repairs anywhere else even if they are 15 miles away from you. THEY ARE THE BEST.
