I visited on independent bookstore day, and the owner was awesome! So helpful in recommendations and just overall seemed like a cool person! It smelled wonderful and was such a pretty place! Also, the only black owned bookstore in Flint! Go check it out!?

When walking into Comma, all you can feel is good vibes and energy from everyone. If you were having a bad day, you can stroll into this store and everything that was a burden, is instantly lifted. The coffee is amazing, the people are even more amazing to be around. I will be back again for future events.

A wonderful place. Elegant and beautifully decorated. I liked the idea that the owners are supporting local events at their bookstore. Egypt is very nice and welcoming. The whole vibe and atmosphere are very hospitable as well.

If I could give less than one star I would!! Male owner is very disrespectful and doesn’t isn’t dependable.. when it comes to his end of the deal, he’s untrustworthy. Just shady and I am very disappointed because I love supporting local businesses.

Comma Bookstore is a must see place if you’re in the Flint area. This business is 100% for the culture and is an important part of the city. Among books, they sell apparel, art, and other items. You owe it to yourself to stop in and see what the buzz is all about. You won’t be disappointed.

My kids and I loved our first experience at Comma—a great locally owned bookstore. The owners were warm and kind, conversational, let us know about upcoming events and were very friendly to my children. We were excited to take home three great children’s books and a new hat, and we’re looking forward to our next time there.
