Dr Singh and Dr. Pelia are very kind and their staff reflects that well! They have helped my baby boy sarge numerous amounts of times! I would bring my cat too if she was more tolerant of cat rides and the vet ??. My dog seems to like them and be more comfortable with them which is a huge plus for me! They have the medicine he needs and the specialty feed he needs as well and everything is at a great price. They also work with care credit which helped me a lot with my dogs surgery this time around. I 100% recommended them to anyone who is overprotective, but on a tight budget!

I genuinely do not feel this clinic should be able to offer services that they are not knowledgeable enough to properly execute.
My dog came in for tumor removal. I thought all went well, until lumps started appearing all over the incision area within weeks. I learned that the proper protocol for animals with MCT would be putting them on antihistamines and cimetidine immedietly after to help with the tumors want to spread after being agitated. We were offered none of this. We went back in , where we SPECIFICALLY ASKED for an antihistamine. The vet told us he would, and prescribed something called Apoquel. We soon learned by a very concerned vet assistant at Blue Pearl, that not only is Apoquel NOT an antihistamine, but it's actually NOT GOOD AT ALL FOR DOGS WITH MCT & could not believe they gave this to us as an option. when I called to ask why, the vet said he knew it wasn't an antihistamine , he just wanted the redness to go away. After expressing the info that it's bad for my dog, he said "we only gave him a week worth" (which was $48. I heard zero offer for a refund whatsoever WHICH IS THE LEAST he could do, prescribing my dog something that we literally didn't ask for and he made us believe was what we wanted)
I went to another vet immedietly for help, where they also said to stop the Apoquel & put him on the proper med care and suggested an oncologist for further review
Please think twice before going here for something serious. I am sure they're good with basic vet care. But i absolutely regret ever trusting this place with my animal.

The best experience at a Vet we have ever had! Thank you for the kind care and card you sent for our Anabell. Your whole team is very caring, fair and truly amazing. We hope to see you soon with our 3 other furry friends Tobi, Zemra and Peaches.

Great service! Great with my dog. I got my dog fixed here. My dog likes this place also. The doctors and staff are very nice and personalble. They treat all customers like family. And that's hard to find. I will continue to bring my dog here. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Thanks for the great service!?

Worst office staff! The office manager has no professionalism and is beyond rude! We experienced this on several occasions. If you ask a question about your pet they make you feel dumb, like you should know better. They treat your animal like a number instead of like a member of the family.

So far it was a great experience. Dr is very knowledgeable, so was the vet tech. They were very thorough looking at my cats leg. He started limping and was hiding. I was so so so worried. No one and I mean no one would see him asap. Not even the ER vet! They were “at capacity”. Finally after 17 calls at 8 am they said I could bring him in today at 1 pm. Yes you have to pay a deposit of 50$. Didn’t bother me considering the vet visit itself was only 50$ for an emergency and it comes off your bill. The one in Allen Park charges 290$ JUST to be seen. I think it’s very reasonable. My cat ended up not having a break (thank God). He got a few shots, and testing. They didn’t force an x-ray on me unnecessarily either. Bloodwork comes in tomorrow so i’ll update if my opinion changes but so far Im happy. Im also beyond grateful they even took us on short notice. So if you have an emergency try calling here. They are very understanding and flexible. Thank you for helping my cat!
Edit; Dr Pelia called first thing next morning with results and asked how he was doing which was nice. He’s almost completely back to his old self! Not hiding and asleep in his favorite spot. So grateful. Ty again!

The staff is amazing at Flat Rock Animal Clinic. When I had to make a very difficult decision to let go of one of my furry BFFs, they were very comforting and compassionate to me. It really helped me to get through that day without completely falling apart.

Dog was given Cytopoint injection for allergies, 1st time. 1 week later my pup was dead. I didn't want to switch what she was already being given. Dr insisted. This used to be a recommended vet. Staff are great, doctors not so much.

As I read a recent review of this clinic, which I use. I witnessed one of these reviews. Ms. you were given an estimate, which is the doctors job to make you aware of ear infection, bad teeth, etc. You chose only rabies. Then come out after ok'ing the estimate to give the receptionist a hard time. I heard everything, yet what you posted was completely untrue. If you're going to hide behind your computer and act like a "Karen," at least spell correctly. It's well... not we'll. Use your own advice and be kind. This clinic is kind, compassionate, and helpful. Nothing is free. Pets are a luxury. Take care of them properly.

I brought my dog there Tuesday the 21of June because she was having a hard time breathing the vet gave her a shot 2 meds and took X-rays and did blood work and sent her home the next day he called and said she had another pill to pick up an antibiotic ok so said her sugar was high and she had an infection we would take care of the sugar when she was feeling better 470 dollars later he never called to check on her today is Sunday she passed away he did nothing to help her except charge me 470dollars and give her medicine nothing for her breathing ? I love my dog now she's gone he did nothing to help. Yesterday may 29 the vet called me because he saw my review not to check on Gypsy but because I left a bad review and he was upset never even said he was sorry so today I called to get my other dogs precipitation filled which is for Cushing and he has to have the pills every day and he won't fill them and told me to find another vet he knows he has to have them and I just spent all that money on my Gypsy and then had to pay for her to be cremated I can't afford to pay a new vet for all the blood tests right now but does he care not at all so now my other dog will be in danger within his pills because he doesn't care
