We came in from KC for the week and LOVED this stop! Small garden, chickens, a fairy garden, and of course the adorable alpacas! Greg told us everyone’s names and taught us LOTS about alpacas. The yarn for sale even has the name of the alpaca it came from, such a personal touch. Will definitely be back!

The Owners greeted us like we were old friends. Gave us a tour and introduced us to their lovely alpaca ladies. We shopped the boutique and I picked up some yarn which was labeled by the Alpaca it was cheered from!

Alpaca wool is surprisingly soft. I bought some socks and look forward to cool weather to wear them.

I wish I could give this place 100 stars. It was such an incredible experience. From flower picking to petting an alpaca, I enjoyed it all. The store has some really nice stuff as well! I picked up a hat that I could wear right from cutting the tags off, as a person with severe chemical sensitivities that is an ultimate compliment to the product itself. Also, the owners of the farm are very nice people who really contribute to the great experience. If you're looking for something unique to do in Manistee, this is it

Stopped in here on a whim, and my wife and I loved it! Both G and D were amazing, courteous, and friendly. They did not hesitate to share their knowledge and enthusiasm for the alpacas. Highly recommend you stop in here if you're in the area!

This place was very friendly and welcoming! I would 100% recommend visiting. The boutique was filled with soft alpaca fur products and we were able to go inside the alpaca pen and pet the alpacas. The owners were very knowledgeable and friendly and showed us cool places to visit around the area. There was also a flower garden where you can pick your own bouquet. If you are in the area, definitely go by!

What a gem! If you're in this area of Michigan, do yourself a favor and stop! Nicest owners, clean & friendly animals and grounds, and we learned so much. Doesn't take long but is well worth the stop!

Phenomenal boutique and dark experience. A top attraction in Manistee!
We stopped by to buy alpaca yarn, and wound up getting a full tour, with walks through the pasture and an up close encounter with the alpacas.
We will be sure to visit again!

This was a really cool experience that I won't forget! The owners were very attentive, the animals were extremely well cared for (the little babies had jackets on for the cold weather) and overall it was just a unique thing to see.The property had trails to walk through, the enclosures were vast and cleaned up nice, there were dozens of Alpacas running around and eating their grass. But to top it all off, was the incredibly well designed and cared for shop in the bottom walkout basement. It was a legitimate store front with enough Alpaca products to clothe an entire village. The quality of the materials, the softness of the fur was amazing. I got a skullcap that is the softest thing to ever touch my head and I couldn't be happier to have it. Loved my experience on the G&D Alpaca Farm!

Had a wonderful experience with Greg and Deb, could not have spent 2 hours in a better place. Greg is very knowledgeable and passionate about the Alpacas, farm is beautiful. Deb has the most gorgeous boutique, with a variety of things to suit everyone's budget. Was bought a stunning Alpaca throw.. will be repurposing that into a shawl, super warm and comfy. Cannot wait to go back in December 2023.

One of the best places I went to in Manistee. The owner was so friendly and since we were the only ones there he let us go in part of the enclosure and get close to and pet the alpacas. They also have an adorable little fairy garden where you can build your own fairy house with shells and sticks etc. You can tell the owners really care about the community and the animals. There's also a little shop with a bunch of cute alpaca merchandise made with alpaca fleece. This is a must-go if you're visiting Manistee.

We are from Iowa and picked a beautiful bouquet of flowers for our cousin who lives in town. She loved them!
