I have had so many bad experiences with tire and auto shops- from men taking my number from my file to ask me out to lying to my face about things that are easily disproved. Tire Shoppe on 9 mile you can just admit when you made a mistake instead of gaslighting the hell out of your customers. Needless to say I don't like having to get services done on my car.

But after several jobs done at wetmore's, I trust them. They are professional and friendly, upfront about pricing, and accurate about the time it'll take to get something done. My one complaint is that their side lot is small so they compensate by parking over the sidewalk and making it impossible to walk on that side of the street, but that's not the end of the world, and I'm sure it's ignorance not malice.

Not only will he tell me what needs to be done to make my vehicle safe, he also tells me of potential problems that I should be looking out for. He will also leave notes on your receipt of things that they found that might be a problem later on down the line.”

“Monro in Frendale on 8 mile provided me with excellent services and what I believe was fair service. I had taken my vehicle to (Midas in Oak Park, which I believe is under new management they tried to charge me 2000 dollars claiming I needed tire rods and some other stuff including new tires.) But Monroe showed me it was my tires and jokingly said God must have been with you because my tires had a grove in them in the middle and i should not have been on the rode. The reason I took my car in was because it was shaking.. I bought 4 new tires and a tire warranty for 700 something. No more shaking my vehicle is running fine. Excellent customer service they treated me with respect which means alot to me especially when I am spending my money. I would recommend this place especially to women who may not know a lot about cars cause they were very patient and explained things in a way I could understand.”

“I took my car in because one of my tires kept losing air. I was in and out in literally 5-6 minutes. They found a screw in the tire, removed it, and plugged it. Cost was $15. Good value. I asked the tech if I needed a new tire and he said nope, this will work for a long time.”
