I really like this Rite Aid, and staff! It is a further and I'm usually riding my bike from my place in Ferndale. CVS is much closer but I would never change until this store closes. I have no doubt that the employees at this location, Woodward Ave, Ferndale MI will have no trouble getting new jobs, and hopefully be paid better, they all deserve it.

Pharmacy received my orders that were sent before they opened at 9:00am and they had all 4 of my prescriptions ready by 9:15am. They are super fast and I’m glad (for now) that the Ferndale location wasn’t one of the Rite Aid stores in Metro Detroit that were closed recently. The pharmacist always gives me the best price on my prescriptions, whether it’s cash, Good RX, or my insurance so I really appreciate her always checking and letting me know which one is the best deal. Any money you can save, especially in today’s economy, is always appreciated.

The pharmacy staff is top notch! I had my prescriptions transferred from my employer, Corewell Health whose prices have gone up considerably from $16 for 90 days to $45. Rite Aid is $15 for 90 days! Unbelievable! My second visit and I was addressed by name! I will be a patron indefinitely just for the customer service alone! Keep up the wonderful friendly service pharmacy staff!

Great store and sales associates. Found most of what I needed. I went to my store and then were out and went to Royal Oak store. Glad they are there.

i was out of town for a month and daily i would get a text to pickup something... i called several times to tell them i was out of town and would they stop texting me and that i would come in or call when i was back in town. they said on two different ocasions that they would stop texting me...THEY DID NO SUCH THING..as i continued to get the annoying text every day. such incompetence ... don't they realize that every time they text i would get inturupted and would have to go to the phone,... anyway, i may not go there anymore.norman schwartz

I visited this store on 03/09/24 around 11:00 AM accompanied by my boyfriend, he purchased an alcoholic beverage, as he checked out and got his ID scanned because he's the paying customer, the cashier with the purple hair goes "I need to see both of your IDs because you look 12" so I showed her my ID because I am obviously not underaged or a "12" year old, and if she thought I was 12 why would you ask a 6th grader or any other child for an ID? She should not make rude comments to anyone or be prejudice because she doesn't know who he was to me that could've been my brother, cousin, or uncle, I mean are underaged people not allowed to shop with a gaurdian now? and it's highly offensive because I am not a kid I doubt she would've asked that to anyone that wasnt of color, and it wasn't funny.

Alex is the most incredible pharmacist in the universe. She is so caring, professional and sincere. Her memory and attention to detail is second to none . She is the employee every company wants. If corporate reads these reviews, give her a bonus and do everything you can to keep her happy.

This is a well-kept, convenient and customer friendly store. They are better stocked than most. The employees are friendly and helpful. Had they not been out of zinc tablets, I would have given them five stars.
