We LOVED our experience at LFOF. Dr. Burke was fantastic with our kitties and addressed all of our concerns. She showed so much care for our little family and even gifted cat toys for home that they’re now obsessed with! Best vet trip yet & worth every penny.

Just wanted to add an additional update. The owner of this practice put my dog's life in jeopardy. In my previous review I detailed my impressions in '23 which I held back from publishing until our physicals in at the beginning of '24. So one of my dogs has a prescription that is very necessary for the maintenance of their health. After paying $1,000 for their annuals I had my words with the owner and I was honest about my disappointment but respectful. They canceled serving my dog's without sending notice. This resulted in running out of the script and being notified by Chewey when trying to refill the vet was no longer maintaining care for both dogs. I had previously sent a copy of records to another vet so I was able to re-establish a relationship quickly. This white woman did not like the idea of a black man telling her what was what. That's fine, I've reported her to state licensing. Retaliation carries a cost...

I have nothing but amazing things to say about the LFOF team! They are wonderful with my two reactive and fearful pups and have made their appointments positive and as stress-free as possible. Both Dr. Burke and Dr. Kelly are informative and answer any questions I have. They are thorough and do not rush the appointment. All the veterinary technicians are wonderful as well! Thank you LFOF for taking great care of my babies!

I have been taking my cat here for almost 3 years and we’ve always had great experiences. She recently started having seizures and after seeing an emergency vet, Dr. Burke provided amazing follow up care. I truly appreciate her realistic approach to animal care and how incredibly knowledgeable and personable she is. The receptionists have also been excellent at calling to check how my cat is doing and make sure she has all her meds, the follow up care provided by Little Friends is better than any human doctor I’ve been to!

LFoF is the most helpful clinic I’ve taken my dog to. The techs, receptionists, and doctors genuinely care about the animals they treat and their owners peace of mind. I have a senior dog with a handful of health issues and they answer all my anxious phone calls and questions in a friendly and professional manner. My dog can be a handful at the vet and they do a great job with her.

Love the vet She's wonderful Don't care for staff or the through the roof prices Still make you wait in the parking lot to walk in Do not accept Care Credit I have been a client 19 year's and at this point I may look elsewhere now

Dr Burke and the staff are incredibly compassionate and patient. They are very knowledgeable in their field. They have all worked very hard to help us with our cats. We will continue to visit Little Friends of Ferndale for as long as we have pets. We wouldn't go anywhere else. And we appreciate their understanding and support. We Highly recommend.

Above and beyond! If they treat their patients half as good as a stranger with a found cat than you are in great hands. We found ourselves in quite the predicament with a random cat, who wandered into our home, obviously missing her family. We called local veterinarian offices that happen to be closed on Wednesdays and then animal control in Hazel Park was unavailable. This office stepped up to the plate and helped me get this kitty scanned for a microchip! They even got me a cardboard carrier, so she just wasn’t a free range kitty in my car. Luckily, this beautiful cat was micro chipped and because of the effort this veterinarian team put in, we were able to reunite this cat with her mother. Thank you again for helping this awesome cat get home!!!
