Not honest : The item I purchased seems to have been purposefully misrepresented as a drawing when it is in fact a signed print. I thought I was bidding on a one of a kind item. From the old label on the back of the frame, it is very clear this is a lithograph. Not honest. Steer clear.

Frustrating experience. I placed bid online the day of auction and actively bid until I was notified I was the winner. I paid the invoice that night. I waited several weeks without receiving any responses to my inquiries about the tracking number. I finally called and was told that the lot was sold to a higher bidder due to a “technical glitch”. So even though I won the auction (first), they chose to give to another person since they gave them more money. I was told there was nothing they could do, and it happens from time to time. I was refunded the money, but that is not the point. I waited for days to bid and try to win a specific item for a reason. Their job as an auction house is to run a professional and fair auction, which in this scenario seems very questionable.

I found a piece here I had been searching for. The price was good and the quality was exactly as described! I will definitely shop with Block again. It’s not so easy to find good customer service. Thank you Block!!

Great customer service! I purchased a few things from Block Auction this past month and the process was very smooth and easy to do. Very unique items that meet every casual or high end antique shoppers needs. Will purchase from them again

They do not tell you items are reproductions!!! They did NoT include a lot I won!!! Emailed them twice and said I would get a refund … and still NOTHING over 1.5 months later!!! Bought 4 lots of Flat Paper Dolls and they charged me OVER 80.00 for shipping and handling!!! They obviously make their bucks from OVERPRICED shipping!!! Shame on them!!! Beware!!!! Of auctions that rip you off!!

Unresponsive to emails inquiring about consignment. Seems to be an Estate sale company not a auction house if you only do 1 auction a year and don't respond to inquiries about the auction
