We paid 5k for a piece of garbage, we know marble is sensitive but this one is sensitive to everything, we don't cook everyday or use it a lot, but you just never know what will stain it, our water cups stained it, fruits, soda, lollipop, the rubber under the blender left a stain, the coffee machine too! We are very very very disappointed, we bought budget cabinets and tiles and decided to invest in the counter, but unfortunately it was a bad investment. Whenever we have people over they ask, what's wrong with your counter? We tried polishing it and shining it but the stains are so deep the polish didn't help at all, basically the counter we got is unusable. We called and explained the problem hoping to get them to help us to Polish but they told us sorry, it is what it is, if we polish it for you you have to pay the fee.

We recently renovated our kitchen, a major gut job, and chose Granite Creations to do the countertop install. It was a really good experience for us. I worked with Heather quite a bit during the process (emails, phone, in person) to get a quote, set up appointments, and go place the templates on the stone we chose. That was the best part for us since we’re a bit particular when it comes to our projects, lol. Their template guy was friendly and knowledgeable when he came to our house to make the template, as were Jake and Reagan when they installed the countertops. When I noticed a poorly filled spot on our quartzite, (from the original factory cutting and polishing, not from Granite Creations), they were responsive and sent the guys back out to take care of it. When it comes time to renovate our bathrooms, they’ll be who I contact.

Approximately 7 years prior we had GC install granite throughout our home (kitchen, great room, 2 bathrooms) and the experience and installation was excellent. Because of the excellent previous experience, we used GC to install granite tops for a primary bath remodel. Here are some highlights of our most recent experience:We went to GC to look and asked the representative Heather to see some white granite samples. Instead of directing us where to look for what we specifically asked for we were told to just look around and let her know if we saw something we liked. Heather couldn’t wait to run back to her desk. Phone calls and emails to us were not done as promised and required follow-up by us. We were contacted only 4 days prior to installation to complete template placement on the slab and it was communicated to us that it was our fault. Heather left a voicemail stating, “You need to come in and do your template placement on the slab if you want to keep your installation date.” We were treated as though GC was doing us a favor rather than valuing us as a consumer. When a technical installation issue arose prior to installation I contacted GC to resolve the issue. The one owner (Mark) that answered the phone was rude, dismissive, and did not actively listen to what my concerns were and lacked basic communication skills. Mark characterized my attempt at resolving the issue as being difficult when I only communicated a desire to resolve the issue.I then contacted Tom Sr. who I worked with 7 years prior and left a message for him to call me. Prior to ever speaking with Tom and hearing my installation concern, he left me an offensive message stating, “You’re not going to like what I have to say, but I’m going to side with my worker.” Upon returning his call I reminded him our previous experience 7 years prior with GC was exemplary and this one was quite the opposite. I also reminded Tom I didn’t appreciate him stating he “sided” with his employee without even hearing my concern. I advised Tom that I called to resolve the concern, not create problems. I also communicated the issues we had with Heather. As the owner of GC, Tom never apologized or took responsibility for her indifference and other issues with us as consumers at his business.During the installation, as the installer was cutting the backsplash to length, they left a significant length of the 4” wide piece cantilevered unsupported over their work table causing it to break. They then installed the cracked granite backsplash. The crack would have been avoided if it was properly supported while cutting to length.GC had a line-item charge on the invoice of $225 for Mastic. GC used a $30 bag (probably less with contractor discount) of mortar and 3 tubes of silicone. How was a mastic charge of $225 justified? The top edges of the backsplash are uneven at the corner.GC emphasized the importance of installing granite on the tub deck with mortar on backerboard as opposed to plywood. The granite slab on the tub deck does not even have full mortar coverage so it is not fully supported. The granite is just sitting on the combed trowel ridges of the mortar. The installers used my tools without my permission.

Tom Budd and his company did an amazing job with my countertops. He has done a lot of work for a lot of my direct network of people I know. I would bet my career on this company….. they are that good. I highly recommend using Granite Creations if and when you are in the market for countertops. Thanks Tom.

I cannot recommend Granite Creations enough - they have been more than helpful, selecting/measuring/cutting and dealing with our contractor for our bathroom projects. We used them years ago for our kitchen remodel and happy that we returned for our bathrooms.

I was in need of a counter surface for my hair salon remodel and knew I needed a material that would not stain.I connected with Tom (junior) about my needs and he provided me with knowledge of my options and provided me with a beautiful piece of porcelain that compliments my space and has not stained - at all!Tom was prompt in his communication, had a great eye for what I was seeking and facilitated the installation. He insured the work was done well and cleaned up everything when finished.I’ve never needed to purchase a countertop before but appreciated the ease of the process during my otherwise stressful buildout. Thanks, Tom and team. ☺️

The gentelemen who came to cut a bigger opening in my granite for a new stove were quick, clean, professional, and reasonably priced. They were in and out in less than hour. It was refreshing to find a company that will still happily take smaller jobs during a time when it seems like everyone else is only accepting larger projects or charging $400+ minimums. Will definitely remember them for when it's time for new countertops. Thank you!

Had the guys from granite creations come and install a granite countertop in my kitchen and they really did a great job! These guys will be my first call if I ever want to do more work in the future.

Installation manager Mark and his team were great. Tom Budd Sr. made sure that the lines on the quartz waterfall matched up beautifully.

Best of the best. We must have driven past dozens of granite/quartz companies between Oakland Twp & Farmington...but that didn’t matter, I guarantee you won’t find anyone better than Granite Creations. They have done 2 kitchens for us, including one up in Charlevoix (4 hrs away)...and didn’t charge any extra for distance, even after having to drive up twice (once to measure and once to install). These guys are professional, friendly, have a quick turnaround and great prices. Could not be happier. Ask for Tom, he’ll take good care of you.

When you know a good thing, you always go back to it. Which is why after getting my kitchen done years ago I went back to Granite Creations for all my bathrooms. Mark and Sevon were exceptional on the install. On-time, courteous, and talented in what they do. Tommy and Jay went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with my selections and offered opinions when I asked. Can't say enough about this staff! Great experience, again!

My wife and I have used GC as our stone supplier/fabricator over the past 7 years. We like them so much we had them install our kitchen counters at our renovated cottage near Charliviox. They also back their work with very responsive service associates.Nothing but good things to say about GC.
