“I had to get my tire repaired due to a nail in it. I normally hate going to body shops because as a woman who stereotypically does not know much about cars, I feel awkward and don't want to be pressured into unnecessary sales. I walked in and was helped within a minute at the most. Brock was very nice and helpful with no pressure but still pointed things out to me that may be needed in the future. I was offered coffee and water as well. The repair was at no cost and I was in and out in less than 40 minutes. The waiting room was pretty warm and very outdated looking but those are just minor nitpicky things. Very happy to have fast service and a no pressure/no stress environment. I will definitely be back!”

“Came recommended from a FB group. I called on a Thursday around 12pm to make an oil change appt. Said they could get me in if I could be there by 2:30. Showed up at 2:20 and was done by 2:45. The guys were all polite, gave me a quote for new tires, and after reviewing when I got home, I'm scheduling as it's a great price! I just want a good product for an honest price. Here's hoping I've found it! I've already scheduled our other car for an oil change next week.”

“I just moved to the city and came here to drop off my car and figure out what was going wrong with it, the staff was very friendly from the first moment and helped me with everything I needed. Very quickly they made a diagnosis and called me back to discuss the fixes that were needed, Mike was very knowledgeable, the prices were fair and left my car looking like brand new. “On Monday I went to ask about the 4 tires for my car, they ordered them and within an hour they called me that I could go and install them, in 1 hour my car was ready, they changed the 4 air valves and the TPMS continued to work correctly , very grateful to the guys who did the work and I think Jake took care of me, his attitude was excellent (sorry if I remember his name wrong) but they are very professional, I 100% recommend this store, thank you very much”
“Today I went to Discount Tire on Grand River in Novi MI. I go there twice a year to switch from factory wheels for winter and chrome wheels in summer. My last visit there was a couple little hiccups in the service. I spoke to Nick the owner/manager about it last winter after he read my review. He called me same day. Said if I gave them another chance he would make sure everything went smoothly. When I walked in he acknowledged me by name and said let’s get you taken care of. My appointment was 11:45 I left their store at 12:15. Only 30 minutes later. During the service one of the shop people came in and said it will only be a few minutes more. They met me right away knew why I was there referred to me by name and had me out in 30 minutes. It wasn’t just a wheel swap they had to swap my tires to my summer wheels also. I was given my keys and a receipt for no charge. I’m very happy with the service I received and glad I went back. I would recommend them to anyone for their tire needs. “Best price I found for a used tire, and I'd called 2-3 other places before Detroit Tire and Wheel. I talked to Sam at their 96/Grand River location. He gave me a very reasonable price! I was actually looking for their Grand River/Lahser location, but Sam told me the other location would accommodate me.....and they did! The Lahser location is run by Bill, and he honored the quote Sam gave me. My tire was installed and I'm back on the road! VERY much worth the trip, time and money........”
