Stay away from this place.... I got my car from here in January 2023. This place is a joke. 1st the financial guy that helped me was not there any longer. It was a couple months and I never received a bill. When I called the dealership they told me that he messed up my paperwork and I will need to resign. Took almost 2 weeks for someone to send me the new document's. Then they were trying to tell me that my car that I trade in had almost 36,000 miles. Which I have pictures and it only had 33,000 miles. I refused to sign the document until they put the correct milage. Took weeks for a manager to call me back regarding all my problems. Now I need an oil change. I remember the sale guy telling me that any service would be covered and to just text him and he will handle it for me. I went to check my coverage and they are now saying that there is no coverage for this car. Oh they also like to throw away people's keys without telling you that they throw away your keys.

I phoned to schedule an appointment, but the person on the call seemed impatient and discourteous. The day before the scheduled appointment, I decided to cancel because I had a negative impression. When I called to cancel, they informed me that the appointment had never been scheduled at all.

I left my car for 3 days to do a checkup (oil change, tire rotation) and to diagnose a light that was up in the panel control. After 3 days, they diagnosed the problem, but they did nothing about the check up! I missed 3 days at work and I Had to come back another day to change the oil car. Unacceptable! When I talked to the manager, he also said was nothing wrong with that!

Family test drove a 2020 VW. The vehicle was used and had quite a few issues, including poor brakes and rotors, a bad wheel bearing, and several other safety hazards. They were ready to purchase the vehicle as long as these safety concerns were addressed. The salesman and manager came back with an INCREASED PRICE to fix safety concerns that should have been fixed prior to putting it on the lot and customers in harms way.

DO NOT GO HERE.There is a reason they always have tons of service appointments when every other dealership around is booked. They're dishonest and misdiagnose left and right.I am a mechanical engineer and I generally have a good idea what's wrong with my car before I take it in (that is, if I don't do the work myself or with my father in law who is a retired Chrysler engineer who has also had nothing but bad experiences at Suburban). I generally don't provide specific details about my troubleshooting when I take my car in and I only provide the basic information that I started with before I start doing deep troubleshooting. It is AMAZING how many times Suburban has tried to gauge me out of thousands of dollars to fix things unrelated to the issue. Even after arguing, I simply get a "well that's what the technician found" type of response. After taking my car elsewhere, either an independent shop or another dealer, I always get a better diagnosis. If you want to waste your money fixing non-existant issues, come to Suburban. If you want your car fixed properly, go somewhere else. I originally bought my Jeep here and now I won't set foot in the place.

Look forward to doing business in the future!! Recently utilized the valet service and service department to get my vehicle serviced. They were punctual, polite and convenient!! Made the usual dreaded task a breeze. Can't recommend them enough! Looking forward to working together in the future for all my car buying and maintenance needs!

I've been a customer since 2015; bought a couple vehicles and always got serviced there. Today they lost a customer.I noticed service slipping over the past year; little things like uneven tire pressures and forgetting to clear oil life codes. And big things like diagnosing an issue but then backtracking on it so they wouldn't have to do a warranty repair. Also, wait times for estimates since Covid have become absurd -- 5-7 business days! That was my situation this morning after doing a lockout last night. The service advisor TEXTED me in the morning (very unprofessional) to say they were super backed up. After I figured out my plan B, I tried to contact the dealer back for a ride to pick up my car but couldn't speak with anybody in service. When you call service it's a "remote number" (where??) and that attendant "is not able" to transfer you to Service. She said I could call the Parts dept and ask them to transfer to Service. Is that not so convoluted? After leaving two messages plus a text with no call back I rode a damn bike there to get my vehicle.A Google search reveals that they seemed to have been bought out by Lithia Motors... another woke globalist company that only cares about making billions for shareholder value, ESG and DEI. Maybe if they weren't focused on being so politically correct their customer service wouldn't be so awful. Too bad, but there are plenty of other mechanics to choose from. Byyyyye

Once I went in, the service advisor was great and got 1/2 of what I needed done complete. That said, I called 5x over the course of 6 weeks trying to schedule an appointment. I talked to 3 people that said they would call me back and I left 2 messages. I never got a call back. That is completely unacceptable. I like my to have my vehicle serviced where it was purchased. Both my wife's car and my truck were purchased from suburban. We will never purchase a vehicle from suburban again!

We bought a 2017 hyundai Tuscan from this location 2 months ago. We've had it in our possession for a total of 5 days and put less than 50 miles on it before it broke down. The dealership sent it back to the Maker, TWICE now and we haven't even been able to receive a loaner car in the interim. No one will call us back or answer our questions. This dealership is not reputable, and they treat their customers problems as if they're insignificant. WE SPENT 20,000$ THERE FOR NOTHING. we are very upset and urge everyone to go to a different dealership

Great customer service! This was thee best car purchasing experience I’ve had thus far. Robert Luekenhoff was a excellent salesman and my 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee Altitude 4x4 was exactly what I wanted.

I am sorry to say that my experience with this car dealership was one of the most unprofessional and frustrating encounters I have ever had. We agreed on a price, I left a deposit on a vehicle and waited patiently for two weeks for the dealership to obtain the "title", which I was a little skeptical since I have never heard of this in all the cars I have purchased in the past. During this time, I made repeated attempts to contact the salesperson named Robert Bell through phone calls and emails, but he claimed not to have heard from me and even stated he was out of town. I still trusted Robert because he kept boasted how they have 52 stores blah blah blah and sold me on all the typical salesman rhetoric. Since I was purchasing this car from out of state, in the mean time I coordinated and paid for an auto transport company to deliver the vehicle to me. After the two weeks had passed, I expressed interest in another vehicle that had just become available on their site, but Robert told me it had already been sold. However, I received texts from him that the vehicle was still available, without him realizing it was me and again they are waiting for the "title". Despite this, I decided to stick with the original vehicle we had discussed for the sake of convenience and argument. However, the situation took a turn for the worse when Robert informed me that the vehicle was no longer on hold for me per the GM because I had missed one call while getting an MRI done. I had only missed one call and had immediately returned it, but he claimed he had been trying to contact me through other means. I have all texts and emails saved so I can show that there were no further correspondence. Robert then claimed he couldn't send me emails and had his IT guy look into it which, per Robert, is the "best IT guy" even though I have been receiving emails all day as it was my work email. With the abrupt change in tone I can only conclude that they never had the truck or that they never intended to sell it to me since I was from out of state and they couldn't get me in the dealership to try to sell me on another vehicle. Typical bait and switch from dealerships. The audacity of Robert and the dealership to claim that I was unresponsive and not available when they themselves had been out of touch for two weeks while I waited for the title is unacceptable. I would advise anyone to steer clear of this dealership, as their unprofessional behavior and games are not worth the hassle.

I took my brand new 2022 Jeep wrangler in for service at this location on February 6th . I heard a whining noise that I never heard from my previous brand new wrangler.Long story short, my Jeep sat until February 23rd . I was told by the manager that he did not know why my vehicle was there so long"After tests were ram , transmission checked ect. I was told that the noise was normal. I trusted that they were professionals , and knew what they were talking about. The receipt that I received stated that my vehicle was test driven and compared to similar vehicles. It stated that the noise was normal. My common sense led me to get a second opinion, because the noise that I was hearing is ridiculous for a brand new Jeep. I was told by another mechanic that the noise was a simple pulley!!!So that this point I feel like my vehicle was neglected by cdjr of Farmington hills. For the multiple weeks my Jeep was on their property clearly there was a ball dropped. Throughout the entire process I suspected some shady activity because nobody couple tell what was wrong with it , or even if it had been looked at. Everyone of the "professionals " that I talked to acted clueless on the status of my vehicle. It got so bad to the point I had yo have direct contact with the manager multiple times a day.At golling bloomfield , I received exceptional service every time. I get new cars every couple years to prevent the vehicle "service" experience. I've never felt so brushed off, left in the dark, bamboozled , and scammed in my life.I'm not sure if it was because I'm a woman, or what. Now I have to take time off work to bring my vehicle back to this establishment that handled me so poorly. After I called to explain my issue, they still made me make an appointment, pushing me aside once again. I'm afraid to even let them near my vehicle, because clearly THEY DONT CARE!I just feel obligated to make them fix their mistake.
