Called them 4 times trying to cancel my gap insurance. Each time it rang for about 15 minutes and no one picked up. No opportunity was given to leave a voice message either.I have updated this from 3 to 4 stars. Blake was very helpful in person and cancelled my gap insurance without hassle. He apologized for the phones not being picked up and said he would look in to it.

Suburban Mazda of Farmington Hills MI is fantastic. The professional and personable service is top-notch. Sharon was excellent at keeping me informed of my sales process and assisted me with all of my concerns. Ken the sales manager did a super job of explaining my sales contract. I purchased the 2024 Mazda CX30. I love it!

The car buying experience was truly amazing. I’ve purchased over 20 cars in my lifetime and this was by far the best. My sales lady, Sharon was amazing from start to finish.Kevin Morrison the finance manager, was equally impressive. This was my first Mazda, but certainly won’t be the last purchase from Farmington Mazda.

I switched brands due to a poor dealership experience and I was a customer for 9 years!!! I love Suburban Mazda - Harold our Sales Ageny was fabulous. We even adored the Finance Manager-Kevin. I’m a woman leasing my own vehicle & the term showed total respect .

I had a very good experience at this dealership. Was looking for a new Cx30, and Harold Henry Mills was a very polite, professional and funny salesman. He worked hard but very efficiently to get me a great deal on the car. I didn't have to haggle and waste hours on end going back and forth to get me a good deal. He was also readily available via phone which I appreciated. Harold made sure everything with my car was ready to go days in advance of my scheduled pick up day.I also want to give a shout out to the sales manager Lou. He was also very polite, and professional. He didn't bs me with crazy high numbers and force negotiations for a long time. He was straight to the point and gave me the best deal around.

Let me start out by saying I love my cx90. I’ve got nothing against the Mazda brand. But this isn’t my first time buying a care from a dealership. And to say I was disappointed would be an understatement. My sales person when “selling” us on the vehicle didn’t actually go over any of the features. I had never driven a Mazda before. If I didn’t research it I wouldn’t have known much. Upon waiting for the vehicle to come in I constantly had to advocate for myself and make sure financing was secure. When it did arrive it was not when he said and when I communicated it wasn’t really a good time for me to pick it up he still pushed me to which made it very stressful and then he wasn’t even around. When getting the vehicle he didn’t even know what time I was arriving even though he pushed for it and no one offered to go over how it worked or test drive the vehicle until I spoke up. No one also told me what form my down payment had to be. The financing guy was very nice however and did everything possible to work with me. But of course after that my salesmen did not respond to me when I texted about getting a letter about being rejected from financing even though I had the vehicle already. I did a trade in and my loan on my old car wasn’t cut until 13 days after and it took over a week for someone to communicate that to me. The business manager was really the only person who finally figured out what was going on. Basically all of this to say if you want support, communication and no undue stress try a different Mazda dealership. This could be a good place but right now you have to advocate yourself. I never even got the all weather mats I asked the salesman to check on multiple times and I now have no intention of buying them here. I wish my experience was different. But it is what it is. And STOP with the formatted non personalized replies. They do no good and do not show you care at all. Pretty much a representation of the level of communication I got. Don’t make me make this a 1 star which I am tempted to do now.

I WOULD SERIOUSLY RECONSIDER BUYING A VEHICLE FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. THE SERVICE IS TERRIBLE.I’ve purchased 2 new Mazdas from this dealership in the past 3 years and once I had to start dealing with the service department, I’ve regretted my purchases. The most recent frustration was calling them to set up service for a simple flat tire and being told that because one of I have their Suburban tire/rim warranties it would take 24-48 hours to service. WHAT?! You would think I would have priority since I bought the warranty from them. And how does buying the warranty have anything to do with how long it takes. I have another vehicle that I bought from a Suburban dealership with the same warranty and I get it service at Suburban Toyota with no difficulties and I didn’t even buy the car from that Suburban Toyota dealership. This is just the latest in a series of frustrations. I certainly realize that this isn’t the biggest of issues, but it represents their general poor service. Who needs additional frustration over simple things like this?I’ve left message for the service manager and general manager expressing my frustration this time, but no call back.Response Edit:While I appreciate your apparent concern, if you took a moment to fully read my post you would know that I’ve already left a phone message with your Service Manager and sent a message to your General Manager. Also, I have purchased 2 vehicles from you so you should have my contact information. Your comment seems wholly disingenuous at the very least

I had a great experience here. Car dealers can get a bad rep, but I found the whole process to be very transparent and straightforward. In the past it’s taken weeks to get things sorted out with other dealers, I test drove 3 different cars, picked the one I wanted, and sealed the deal and drove off with it in less than a week. Mazen was the dealer that sold me my car, and I can’t recommend him and this place enough if you’re interested in a Mazda.

On January 23, 2023, I purchased Suburban Care (3 oil changes & tire rotations) for $199. This morning, I called to schedule an oil change. and the rep (Rachel) stated that Suburban Care has been voided in my account because I didn't make the payment. I quickly double check my bank account and confirmed to her that Suburban charged my credit card in January under "Audi Mazda Porsche VW." The rep then said she doesn't know what's going on and transferred me over to the service advisor, Chris.Chris stated that I used up all the oil changes from Suburban Care. He was referring to the complimentary Suburban Care I received when purchasing the car 3 years ago. I claimed that I paid for a new care package back in January, and used 1 oil change that same day. I asked him numerous times to verify when my last service date was in the system, so he could see the receipt from that day. He would not confirm for me, and commented that they stopped offering the Suburban Care package a while ago.At this point, I am beyond irritated. If it was a business decision to stop offering it, what happens to customers with remaining oil changes? Why were we not informed, or refunded? Who simply "voided" the package in my account that I already paid for?Chris said that he would look into it and get back to me in 10 minutes. No response in 2 hours, so I called back. Rachel said that Chris is with a customer and will call back in 5 minutes. It has been well over that as I am writing this review.I lost my confidence with this service center. Please refund my payment from January and I will happily take my business elsewhere. It's a shame because the sales team at this location was friendly and transparent when I purchased the car.

I asked them simple maintenance for my CX-9. they forgot to inform me that the work was completed even though the work was actually finished in two hours. As a result, I couldn't pick up the car, so I ended up spending the weekend without a car. Incredible service.

A very bad experience with the service like a legal robbery. First they sold minor recommended or regular services with scary words - risk of damage, durability concern, broken car etc, and then charged 60% labor on each individual parts.I drove a CX-5 10K miles in 1 year, they charged me $130 to replace the engine and ac filter. I think dealerships are for warranty and visit local shops for maintenance (oil change etc).

I have a love-hate relationship with my Mazda since Mazda dealerships are far and few between. The Troy Mazda location is much busier than this location, so when my car was having issues, I couldn't afford to wait any longer, so the Farmington Hills location got my business.I called the service center and was scheduled a diagnostic service for about 1 week out. This location is a bit tricky to get to and one time missed the turn to get in the parking lot. I pulled my Mazda into the service garage and Dennis helped me with next steps. You pay for a diagnostic test and if something is wrong then you can apply that fee to the service/labor. I was impressed with the emails/text updates from Mazda. A few hours later I received a video from a mechanic going through what my car needed work on. It was a simple but an effective video and being a visual person, this was perfect for me to see what improvements I needed. I checked off on the website what I wanted done, then a few hours later my car was ready. Next day I picked up my car and I was on my way. Very happy with the whole process and service. Quick and affordable.
