Used them for several years for my taxes and they did well. The last year I switched accountants & didn’t use them to prepare either my state, federal or corporate taxes. He charged me anyway & I received letters for years. I even sent a copy of my taxes showing it was prepared by someone else. They decided instead to file in court against me. Because I had called to notify them if the change instead of emailed I lost. Now I’m required to pay over 2k for a 600 bill I shouldn’t have been responsible for.Do everything in writing with them, you’ll need that written record later

I have been with Stuart for over 30 years. He is very knowledgeable and helpful and his staff are both friendly and efficient. I have also worked with Ed who has been great on my cross border filings, taxes etc I have never had to worry about my taxes since I found Stu and his colleagues.

So Disappoint today I was look at the review to see where I gonna go do my taxes and saw this place. Just stop by if i can get appointment. Some lady said not take walk in appointment and ask me if some body recommend. What a business!! Lol nevermind take all my 1099 to other place

I have seen many CPA's over the years and none of them compared to Stuart Schram! Stu even helped me get out of an audit that another CPA got me into! I am writing this review now because Stu has really went above and beyond for us and thought it would be a good time to publicly share our appreciation! Stu has been doing my taxes for over 30 years. He has taken me through single to joint filing to having kids to add into my returns. He has always been really helpful and efficient despite my many lapses in getting paperwork in on time etc. I no longer live in Michigan so am going to be using an accountant in my new location, but I will really miss him and his ever helpful staff. I give him my 5 star recommendation without any qualms.
