It's messy most of the time I visit. On a positive note though, they have what I am looking for all the time. It's big inside and they carry many colored themed napkins, table clothes, utensils, party hats and balloons just to name a few. I usually shop here for "thank you gifts" for our guests on birthdays.If you're going to purchase balloons with helium pre- order your balloons, it's easier trust me. After you have pre-ordered all you do is walk in, pay then leave. Instead of ordering them and picking them up the same day. If you take this route, you might be there for some time depending on the day and time, because they are usually working on the pre-orders and they will do their best to fit you in. Everyone's best is not the same ALL THE TIME! During Halloween they have different decorations and costumes. Whatever event you might be planning, they will definitely have what you need.

Balloons didn’t even last 12 hours. At $1.40 per balloon (plus price of balloon if you buy in store) this is ridiculous!!Store claimed they would call when balloon order was completed, waited over a hour, was never notified. Didn’t receive a receipt and store can’t email receipts… just won’t go here again.I gave two stars because the store was clean organized and had a very good selection of party decorations.

I called Michelle at party city in Farmington Hills,MI because my son said he did not receive his check on Friday. He contacted HR and was told the check was at the store. He called the manager Michelle and she told him his check was not there, was very rude and nasty when she spoke to him and then hung up on him. My son tells me this, so of course I decide to call Michelle myself to find out where my son’s money is. After all payday was Friday and here it is Monday afternoon and no one knows where his check is.I called Michelle to ask her if my sons check was in her possession, and she was totally rude and unprofessional. So I told my son to write HR back and complain about her. No manager should treat anyone that way; a customer, an employee or an associate. My son composed an email explaining to HR the situation, and again stating his check was still missing. Less than 20 minutes later I get a phone call from Michelle that my son could come pick up his check they have it.So she lied to my son, was rude to me and my son, hung up on my son and calls her self a Manager. Party city you can do better.

Terrible Customer Service Experience at Party CityDate and Time: Friday 6/16/2023 between 2:15 to 2:30 PM EstI recently had an extremely disappointing encounter with the lady manager at Party City that left me utterly frustrated and dissatisfied with their customer service. I visited the store with the intention of purchasing a single balloon for a special occasion, but what should have been a simple transaction turned into a nightmare.Upon entering the store, I approached the lady manager at the counter and politely asked if she could inflate the balloon for me. To my surprise, she curtly refused, stating that I would have to wait for 45 minutes before she could assist me. I was taken aback by this response, especially considering there were no other customers waiting to be served at that time.Despite explaining that I only needed one balloon and that it would take her mere minutes to fulfill my request, she remained adamant, displaying a complete lack of empathy or willingness to accommodate a customer's needs. Her attitude was incredibly dismissive and disrespectful, leaving me feeling both frustrated and undervalued as a customer.What was even more baffling was the fact that there were multiple staff members present, seemingly idle and not engaged in any specific tasks. It was clear that there was ample manpower available to help with a simple request such as inflating a balloon, yet the lady manager was insistent on making me wait an unreasonable amount of time.The lack of professionalism and customer-oriented approach demonstrated by the lady manager was truly disheartening. It's astonishing that Party City would employ someone who is so blatantly indifferent to customer satisfaction. A store that prides itself on providing party supplies and ensuring customers have a positive experience should be ashamed to have such a person in a managerial position.Needless to say, I left the store without making a purchase. The lady manager's refusal to assist me promptly and her unreasonable waiting time requirement made me question whether Party City values its customers at all. As a result of this dreadful experience, I will be taking my business elsewhere in the future, where I hope to find a store that prioritizes customer service and respects the value of a customer's time.I strongly urge Party City to reevaluate their management staff and ensure that customers are treated with respect, courtesy, and efficiency. No customer should be made to feel insignificant or subjected to such a blatantly dismissive attitude.

This store has an amazing team leader, Nicole! I’ve been a customer of Party City for years and seeing how great you are treated as a customer at this Farmington Hills store makes you not want to go to another location. Keep up the good work Team Nicole!

What a disappointment. Wry poor customer care and no other customer in the store at the time. Low inventory of balloon weights. No offer to help or offer suggestions when prompted. Cashier couldn’t even log in correctly to her register and when calling supervisor she was told what she did wrong and supervisor never came out to help. I was told to go to another register. Balloons escaped to ceiling when filling with helium. They took 10 minutes to try and retrieve ballon’s from ceiling and would have continued if I hadn’t asked them to choose new balloons since I was pressed for time. Such poor service. Rey disappointed after spending $66 for the whole process.

I went there for some last minute birthday party items, received good help at the balloon counter, associate was very helpful and patient. Been there before, they're always nice, store is organized, and clean.

Not sure who is giving this store more than 1 star. Staff could not be less interested in working if they tried. Dismissive and disinterested. Store is about 1/3 empty as well. Not long for this area, I’d guess. Don’t blame Amazon. Blame poor service.

ordered balloons... 18 of them, only got 14 and they were all deflated within 6 hours. (and they were kept in the correct conditions).
