Yesterday was the last straw Been going here for over 10 years I stop in maybe once a month to see if i can find something new to try, They have always been shady and overcharge for everything.
Partially my fault I picked up a 15$ 4 pack of beer that was best by June 2019 it is February 2024 not the first time this happened with expired expensive beer. I feel like the owner just offloads what ever beer he does not want to not take a loss.
Here is the most egregious thing I have ever encountered in retail. I got about 28$ in items. The cashier rang me up the total came to 53 something. Out of a lapse of judgement I charged my card then realized something was very wrong. The older tall cashier acted scared and shady at first and stated "Oh he told me to take this off I forgot" He was caught and didn't know how to act as he showed me on his receipt it was a 24$ bottle of wine I was charged for ( the receipt they hand you only show the total) but never rang up. My card was charged he handed me cash for the difference.
Could of been a simple mistake but that is his job and it was almost as if he knew what he was doing. I think they have done something similar before for less and tried to do it again for even more. And if they did it to me as a long time customer who else are they doing it to.
They basically committed a crime, more then not I gave them 2nd chances but this was the last straw. They are a shady, up charging, scamming liquor shop simple as that, I will now drive out of my way to avoid ever doing business with them again.

Some shady place here. Don't do business with them. I saw a bottle I want I asked for it he said 549 then after a few minutes on his phone he say oh its 999. Don't go here unless you want to be scammed.
