Angelo and his crew, they are absolutely great. Movers were on time, friendly and efficient. Tagged and recorded everything. Disassembled, reassembled with no damage.

The crew at my former apartment were very nice and efficient, even though I hadn't finished packing. The crew in my new city were equally nice and efficient (did I mention I had 50 or more boxes of books?) The driver in my new city communicated well about when they would arrive. On moving day they were late, but called to tell me that we're having a hard time finding a viaduct that was high enough for the truck to go through. To me, that was just as good as being in time. They unloaded efficiently. There was a mishap with a dresser, which will probably need a minor repair. They were upfront about it, told me as soon as it happened. (A similar thing happened with a bookcase in a previous move with a different company. Those movers did not tell me what had happened, and I discovered it later.)
Over all, I as very pleased with my experience with North American. I recommend them.

In the words of their own Director of Operations, they “really screwed the pooch” on our move. Picked up everything on time, but had no plan whatsoever for how it was going to be transported 900 miles to our new home. We spent an entire extra week living in a hotel.

The driver and laborers were excellent. Considering a stressful experience moving, the packing, loading, and delivery couldn't have gone more smoothly.

Collin, Ben and team were absolutely great. Also, they communicated well with me throughout the entire process. The only reason I gave 4 stars, was I felt they could have sent more packers/movers for my move out.
Overall would recommend this company for your move.

Movers were on time, friendly and efficient. Tagged and recorded everything. Disassembled bed and recliner for us and reassembled when arrived at the new location. Moved mom's stuff from Michigan to Florida. Highly recommend this company. Also only one on BBB site that we saw. We would definitely use them again. Thank you so much.

Underestimate over charge, then they hold your items for ransom. Do not use them for long distance moving, or any moving at that. Driver was nice guy though.

I was so very impressed with my movers. Dave & Reece was very professional. They unassembled my furniture and took great care with loading it in the moving truck. They arrived early with my furniture to Florida and unloaded and reassembled my furniture. Everything was great. I highly recommend this company and I won't hesitate to use their services again.

The North American Van Lines employees in Farmington Hills were very professional and responded promptly to my calls and messages with information I sought. The delicate items were excellently packed by a specialized subcontractor and the general item boxes were also packed well. My only complaint is with the subcontractor who actually moved my items in his truck. Many of my antique furniture items were scratched and dented because they likely moved and jostled during the trip. The driver was experienced and friendly and had wrapped furniture in cloths and wraps which he graciously left with me. I was sad upon later unwrapping and examining furniture to find small damage where things had rubbed together. My rating would be a solid five stars but for the damage on sentimental antique family furniture and other antiques.

This was the most horrible service I have ever received and paid for. I would not recommend North American lines to anyone, and I have asked to file a complaint of which I have not gotten a response. The driver and on loaders basically performed a dump and go. I meticulously labeled my boxes to the . appropriate rooms of which 10% of my boxes were actually put in the room as designated. I have had to search basement garage for kitchen boxes and basement garage for a bedroom boxes. Garage boxes have been found in the kitchen. I am wondering if your employees know how to read. There are several items such as to lazy boy recliners that were not assembled appropriately as they unassembled them to pack them. My exercise equipment was also not assembled since they disassembled it. There is a package that is taped up with screws I don’t know what’s inside because they didn’t label the wrapped package. I don’t know what screws are in there or what the screws belong to. I am most dissatisfied with the attitude that I was met with very unprofessional and the communication over the whole moving process from beginning to end was representative of miscommunication and poor communication. I certainly did not expect to have to pay for such poor service and would not recommend North American lines to anyone

Great service. Front office answered all questions in timely manner and made coordination of scheduling easy. Driver Ken was great. Caring and great communication. Great team of movers on both ends. Professional and courteous. Top notch all the way around. Very pleased and would recommend to anyone.

If it wasn't for your driver this move would have had been a very poor experience. First the promised date of our delivery to our new home was not honored and delayed for 4 days. Which doesn't seem like much however it affected our temporary living arrangements. I was told there's nothing they can do about it. Secondly we had requested unpacking at our new home and it was somehow missed at the time that the house was evaluated for the goods to be shipped. I was told I could have someone there to unpack two days after the furniture had arrived. At that point what good would that have done us. Just very disappointed in the response or lack of per my calls to my quote account manager. Still waiting for a call back to understand what money that would be returned from the original quote due to a lighter weight of shipment. Very disappointed.

Moving can be very stressful. From my initial FaceTime quote with Robin to the day my belongings were delivered and reassembled by Ted and his partner (so sorry I can’t remember his name) I was 100% satisfied. Robin was very knowledgeable, helpful and answered all of my emails promptly. Ben in the office was knowledgeable, professional, gave me all the boxes I needed and called after pick up to be sure I was satisfied. Brighton and his team arrived for pick up promptly. They were quick and took care with my belongings. All of my belongings were unharmed and arrived exactly as promised on the day and time requested. The communication and follow up were superb. I would recommend North American Van Lines - Farmington Hills without hesitation.

Terrible at communication, on time delivery is a joke.They had a truck break down, I understand it put them behind, but I have been waiting a long time.Original delivery date July15 to July 28. Got half my stuff on July 15. It is now August 3rd and still do not have final delivery. It is like pulling teeth to get them to respond.Will never use them again.
