To all motorcycle owners, do not try to even enter this property or any properties owned by Beztak. I had an appointment scheduled and I showed up just to be turned away because corporate policy does not allow any motorcycles on their property, period. This was not communicated to me in any way.

I have been a resident for 16 years. Overall I haven’t had a lot of concerns. There is one issue that should be addressed in residents using the street to walk with strollers, impeding traffic. There should be a specific area where people can walk, not the streets. Appliance upgrades to reflect today’s modern design. I would love a paint update, and carpet cleaning or go to hardwood floors. Thank you

I'm not even sorry to say that the person that we spoke to today was one of the worst and most inexperienced leasing consultants ever and not even bothered to say his name, he is ANTHONY!!!
We looked at an apt online and we have booked our appointment to tour and the price we saw online while coming there was changed instantly after we got there and he is like no the price was same since morning and we did not change anything and he is asking for proof, luckily I did not close my browser, the price was same from last 2-3 days and somehow it changed at the exact same time we got there.
The price he told us is around 1595$ something..... and he asked for proof, I'm attaching the screenshot here, show him this proof... uploaded a pic..
And I don't get one thing, if you look at the screenshot here it said "Available" Apr4th and after we got there he said it is not available until April 11th. Then what is the point of keeping that date if it is not right!!!!.
And after all this, he insisted on asking our IDs or he will not take us to tour, we already showed him our IDs when we first got there...
He is not even listening to what we are trying to say and keeps on insisting about ID, and he said if you are not going to tour, I have other works to do, what he thinks only he is working in this entire world...
If he don't know how to handle different customer, ask him to leave his job..

Very poor response times for maintenance requests.
My time here has been a nightmare since the first day I got my keys.
When I moved into the location I didn’t have a bathroom countertop, a bathroom mirror, no blinds, light fixtures were partially installed and the apartment was unfinished.
I moved in under the pretense that the location had good security and they promised residents that visitors would have to check in with security after 11pm none of this has proved to be true.
The rear entrance gate is constantly broken.
The front entrance gate is left lifted up at all hours. I’ve gone through the front myself and was not asked to present I.d and not stopped because the gate was just left up. The security in the booth literally allows anyone through at any time of the day or night.
The few times I’ve interacted with security they have given me a harder time than my guests with trying to enter the gate. I’ve been met with sass and disrespect from the gate security, while they’ve allowed unwanted guests to enter the location without so much as a second glance.
I put in two emergency maintenance requests for my broken garbage disposal and standing water in my dishwasher over the last 22 days and they have been slow to respond. I stated they could enter the premise while I’m not home and still have yet to get the issue resolved. I’ve spoken to multiple people and sent multiple emails and still when I enter my apartment I am met with the stench of standing water and drain issues.
It’s been almost a month and I can’t do dishes or cooking my own apartment because the drain is clogged and there is standing water in dishwasher and there is a constant leak on my kitchen floor from these issues. I have not stayed in my apartment for majority of this month because I can not even cook in my own residence

The security person at night looks and speaks like a racist….
Couple days ago when I was entering she said, “You guys come from your country here, make up your own rules and you want us to follow those rules?”
I wanted to call the management the next day but I forgot and just now when I was entering with a friend, this time it happened to my friend, he was saying the address but the same lady again said “huh the way you guys say things” I believe she meant about the accent!!
If she doesn’t like to work here or really has any problem then don’t work here or complaint to management if we really do not behave properly but this is not how security should respond to the visitors!!!! Is it??

Been living here a year and six months. Maintenance is a big joke. You go to call for repairs and they never respond. Then you go to leasing office it s a rude attitude like you are bothering them. The neighbors above me stomp across the floor like they weigh 600 hundred pounds. They (leasing office) don’t want to to talk to them so they tell you to call the police Police are call and they tell them to knock it off only for them to repeat the cycle all over again. And they smoke weed all day everyday. What a big joke for the price you pay to live out here. This place is no better than the city of Detroit.

Terrible maintenance. Rude maintenance people, if you ask questions, they will argue and suggest you to apply for maintenance job Lol. Leasing office makes promises on timely response to maintenance requests during signing the lease. DO NOT FALL for that. One of my friend has been living in that apartment with noisy AC , noisy toilet for weeks apart from other broken things in the apartment. All the installments are really old and they ignore your maintenance requests. if at all you get their attention after few follow ups, they showed up onsite with the intent to somehow close the requests instead of fixing the issue for good.

I lived in this apartment complex for 11 months from 06/23 to 05/24. Overall living experience was fair enough for the hefty bills they charge their residents.
It’s been over 2 months I left the apartment, but I haven’t gotten the refund of my security deposit yet. I have emailed the accounts manager multiple times inquiring on updates, but they don’t have the minimum decency to reply any of them. They don’t pick up my calls either.
I had around $1100 as security deposit. Before leaving, I had requested them to walk through the inspection process for any damage but they denied. Later, I found out they had deducted around 600 bucks under miscellaneous headings, one of them being ‘damage to kitchen countertops’, for which they deducted about 400 bucks. I am pretty sure it was fine before I moved out, so I asked them for evidence of damage, but they wouldn’t furnish or reply. I think that’s a blatant scam. On top of that, I have not been given any updates if I am ever going to receive the remaining deposit.

The team at Muirwood Apartments is second to none! Reed was incredibly helpful during my move-in, and Sara, the property manager, has also been great. The pool and fitness center are my favorite amenities, and the overall community is wonderful. A great place to live!

Reed was super responsive and made the whole leasing process so easy. The amenities here are excellent, and I’m loving my new apartment!! Totally reccomend to any future tenants.

I toured Muirwood and was impressed with the amenities. Reed in the leasing office was friendly and helpful and answered all my questions. The property is clean and well-kept. Sara, the property manager, is attentive and makes sure everything runs smoothly. Highly recommend!

Great location, awesome staff! Reed and Sara make living here a breeze. Love the fitness center and pool!
