Where do I even begin? This hotel's incompetence and disregard for guests' well-being is beyond belief. Not only did the manager ( Chellse)fail to honor a promise of depositing 15,000 points, but the room I was given was an absolute horror show and yet numerous calls and reminders not even a single point was credited. The toilet was disgustingly filthy, and to top it off, bugs were crawling on the walls! This grim reality of uncleanliness and pest infestation is nothing short of appalling. The combination of broken promises and the revolting conditions of the room paint a picture of utter neglect for guest comfort and basic hygiene. It's shocking how this establishment operates without a hint of responsibility or care for those who stay there. This was not just an inconvenience; it was a nightmare. My advice: steer clear of this place at all costs unless you enjoy filthy rooms and broken promises. A total disgrace!"

This was one of the best hotels I've stayed at in a while! Extremely comfortable bed, clean and spacious rooms, and the rooms smell amazing. 10/10 highly recommend!!

We have stayed here twice now, and we will be back. I can’t say enough good things. The hotel looks nice. It’s in a quiet area. The staff is so friendly. The beds are comfy. And best of all, it’s affordable. 100% do recommend.

Stayed here for work last month and it was a very good week. Clean rooms and the staff was very pleasant. Elshawn from the reception desk was very helpful and professional. Location is odd in rating as this is near all the corporate parks, which is why it's only three stars.

Best part...the room was clean. The bed was comfortable, a tad bit too high, but then I'm 5 foot tall. The breakfast was terrible. The restaurant is closed. They put up some 8 foot tables w/table cloths-- one with an old coffee stain on it. Breakfast was scrambled eggs, burn sausage patties and cheese omelets. No potatoes or other hot options. Only had wheat toast in both containers, no pastries, no cereals, no bagels (but they had cream cheese?), no oatmeal, no pancakes or waffles. Unappealing oranges & an apple for fruit. Only OJ and apple juice. One brand of yogurt (6) for a Saturday morning. Now I know what there are not pictures of their breakfast spread.

I’m kind of a no-frills guy when it comes to hotels, so I can’t really speak about the gym, pool, breakfast, etc. I come to sleep and that’s about it, so the room is the most important part for me.The front desk people were super friendly and accommodating. The lobby was swanky, even if the giant mirror is a little unsettling. Idk man I’m not a giant mirror kind of guy. There were plenty of bell hop carts for our work gear. The room was pre-set to 67°, which was a great feeling to walk into after being in the Detroit summer heat/humidity.The furniture is all modern and updated. Every wall outlet have USB 2.0 ports (I wish 3.0 would start popping up more in hotels, but the march of progress is always slow so it’s to be expected). There’s an ice bucket, a Keurig, a decently-sized fridge, and a microwave. The bed is amazing and soft and has great pillows. My only complaint there is that the duvet is kind of thin, but it breathes well.Bathroom was great. I hated how bright the mirror was (again, me and mirrors). You could see every pore. Shower pressure was decent and stayed hot. I forgot my face wash, and one day I believe in a utopia where hotels offer that, but we’re not there yet. Also, small thing, but I thought it was cool that there was no bible in any of the drawers. I’m glad we’re moving away from that gross cliche as a society. My two biggest/only serious complaints:1. The building is a new construction, aka the “lowest bidder” approach, aka the walls are paper thin. Cross your fingers and hope the room across the hall isn’t a family of 10 or a thespian troupe or something.2. My favorite part of staying in a hotel is getting to watch cable. I only use streaming apps at home, so it’s become a tradition to get Cable TV time. The cable package is pretty limited and DOESN’T HAVE THE HISTORY CHANNEL ??? I just want my Forged in Fire and Ancient Aliens. It sounds so minor, but I was actually really bummed out about that.

Very clean rooms. Fairly large rooms. Decent continental breakfast. Probably one of the best hotels from a major chain that I've stayed in. Staff were friendly and helpful.

When I called to cancel my booking, I was surprised to be informed by the front desk that I never had a booking. Confused I thought just as well since I no longer needed the room. Weeks later there is a charge to my credit card for a stay they claimed I never booked! Manger was unaccommodating and did nothing to make it right. In the end I got stuck paying for a hotel room I never stayed. I will never book with them again. Disappointed as I love Holiday Inns and have never had a problem with any locations until this one.

Our experience at the Farmington Hills Holiday Inn was...a mixed bag. We stayed 5 nights. The positives first - staff was really nice, they shipped a lost item back to us quickly, stay was quiet, bed comforter was really comfy. Now the negatives - No extra pillows or blankets (with a side of weird gaslighting about pillows??), a big sticky spot like someone spilled a whole bottle of syrup on the floor next to the bed, no conditioner in the shower, breakfast was out of food a lot of the time, no "constant fan" option on the AC, toilet paper was the texture of public restroom paper towels (and that is not an exaggeration). The night we checked in, we asked if we could have a couple extra pillows, as my husband is very tall with broad shoulders and needs them for his neck, and I needed some for a hip issue. They said they didn't have any extras at the moment because they were fully booked. Weird, but ok, we'd check again later. The next day, we asked again, and they said there were still no extra pillows available, but they'd drop some in our room if they found some, or some extra blankets to use instead. So we decided to just go buy a few cheap ones. When we came back, the woman at the front desk said, "What did you do that for??? We got some pillows for you! You didn't need to do that!" And we said oh, great! Well we'll just return these if we don't need them. We figured we'd find some more pillows in our room at this point. Nope. So we just threw our hands up and used the ones we bought ourselves.

The best party of this establishment is the location. Closer to many restaurants. But the room and service was poor. We walked in to the room there were no towels. The shower walls had soap scum and hair. Our room was never serviced. Had to keep asking for towels etc. none of the workers looked happy to be there. A room was left open for hours before it was attended to. Won’t ever stay at holiday inn again. This is the second hotel different location and it’s not giving

If you’re lucky you’ll get a wonderful, warm greeting at the door from Delfunzo (Del). This made the hour drive through traffic and construction worth it!
Check in was quick and the room better than expected….fourth floor king! Clean, decent fitness room, standard breakfast, and perfect spot for visiting family at Beaumont Hospital, 13 minutes away.

I had a horrific experience while staying at this Holiday Inn. My stay was suppose to cost $424 but the hotel charged multiple authorizations till my car was charged over $1,000. Once it was time to check out they wanted to authorized ANOTHER payment. The manger was tried to accommodate us with a one free night stay but the bank would not allow another charge because we have reached our credit card limit! The GM of hotel met us with very snarky remarks and no apologies. We thoughtful we could resolve our issues with Lachera but we left feeling disrespected. We will not stay here again.

Trip was to visit Inception(Mental health gym). I booked room with 2 beds. When we arrived it was very chaotic and they appeared to be short staffed. When we went upstairs to our room, it was only 1 king bed(it's 4 of us). We went back downstairs and informed the staff(Adam-if thats his real name) very nicely that we did not receive the room we booked for. Well he started to wave his hands up down and around, roll his eyes and head yelling, " I don't know what to tell yal, make it work, I just got here". I was honestly shocked that he would speak in that manner to customers and my children were also shocked. We've always stayed at holiday inn no matter what state we are in but we will never book at a holiday inn again after being so rudely treated & spoken to. Corporate has also been notified.

Staff was nice, room was clean, i was charged an additional fee due to an issue with price line but they refunded it swiftly. Pool is only 4 ft and some change and the breakfast options were extremely limited but you get what you pay for. Overall nice for a quick stay, I wouldn't stay longer than a couple days.
