Brie Friday night check in needs customer service training.I called Thursday and asked about hot tub. Front desk said it was operational. Checked in Friday and apparently it's out of order. I was given a main floor jacuzzi room that didn't work. Room was loud. Saturday morning asked for a manager and was told " they don't work weekend's " Faye was extremely helpful moved us to another quieter room . Hotel is under renovation and wasn't informed of this until check-in. Brie said " you should have checked website ".Faye made my experience much better and was a awesome employee. I left message for manager to call me Monday and a week later no one has addressed my concerns.Apparently a marriott isn't a marriott anymore. No management on duty on weekend's when it's busyThanks Fay for making it right for our anniversary weekend

Almost missed out on this amazing room, but a quick online comparison, especially on ʜᴏᴛᴇʟᴅᴜʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏᴍ, got me a real catch.The room was clean.I extended my stay by 1 day. And they upgraded me to as a jacuzzi room super cool. There was a wedding there and all the parties needed to stay together. Which is why they switched me.

Very dirty! Trained to work there with my 8year experience of cleaning, & didn’t want to stay! Head housekeeper wanted me to clean furniture with air refresher as if germs were not present. Half cleaning & rushing me thru the process…they must be family because when I tried to correct the trainer to the boss “woman”,(lol)she walked away from me as if it didn’t matter…horrible place to want to sleep at!Rooms: Sucia/Sucio DIRTY!!!

Breakfast is very minimal! Person making breakfast not friendly n they use striophon plate instead of paper plates, n hot food, burns thru plate n is toxic and eating poison n she didn't care or reply to my concern! Bathroom is big with a very small bathroom sink n counter. Bed is comfortable. Lots of construction very noisy!

Wish I could give this no stars. Worse hotel experience ever, tv didn’t work, room key was on/off. Management would be -2 on scale of 1-10. Don’t stay here EVERRooms: Nothing worked properly

I’m a 15 year member of Marriott (titanium) and in that time I have never once had a hotel charge me a cancellation fee. Especially for a Fairfield in Michigan. I have had to cancel hotels before and every other property will understand my situation and they’re accommodating. This one stands out. Bri, who works the front desk could not care less about that. I will not ever stay here again

The room was clean.I extended my stay by 1 day. And they upgraded me to as a jacuzzi room super cool. There was a wedding there and all the parties needed to stay together. Which is why they switched me.Safety: I'm a smoker so I spent a lot of time outside and it was very safe.

Hotel is in active renovation. Third floor is completed and redone very nicely. Comfortable bed and fresh linens. Bathrooms are done tastefully and everything works as it should. 2nd floor is having work done to it currently but I heard no construction noise while I was there. Perhaps I was just lucky as there are posted noise signs throughout the hotel. Lobby is also completed and is very neat and tidy. Staff is friendly and responsive. This will be a very nice hotel when completed.

Was here recently for a wedding room block. Highly disappointed in this hotel. Could not check in on time due to the computer system going down after a power outage. Had to get ready for a rehearsal dinner in my car. Not even a sorry for the inconvenience was offered. Check in was at 3 pm part of the group finally got into their rooms at nearly 6 pm. Had to get my keys changed 3 times because they wouldn’t unlock the doors, even right after programming them.Rooms: 3rd floor rooms are fully renovated, 2nd floor closed currently for construction, 1st floor not renovated and door locked didn’t work properly during my stayWalkability: Not a walkable area

Last weekend was my third time staying at the hotel and I absolutely love it. The workers at the hotel are so nice and always eager to assist you on the spot. It was extremely quiet and the breakfast they provided was so good. This is the only hotel we will be staying at while we are in Detroit just amazing.

Would have to be the worst experience I have ever had! Called to let them know we would be arriving late. Got there and the woman checking us in barely knew what she was doing. Could only get one room key…Walked in the smell of the room could make you vomit. Not very clean room. No screen in windows to let fresh air in. Walls had staples in them like they were holding the wall where it should be. The beds are beyond to soft very uncomfortable.Next morning we got up and got ready just to find out the shower doesn’t work properly. Left then came back to our room never was touched but was told housekeeping is part of our stay. Went to the front desk to let them know we did not get the service. She assured us 3 times that they were coming so we stayed out so they had the room to do so. When we arrived back at 10pm the room had not been touched. Saturday morning we decided we wanted to go swimming pool was closed for 8 hours to be cleaned. So we did not get to enjoy that. We then went to pack up as our check out time is at 12pm. After leaving we found out that we got charged for our pre-paid room…. Very disappointing. Everybody we interacted with could not have an answer for any of our questions. Hoping they fix their wrong here I am spending money for 4 nights in the hotel when I only stayed for two… all while the door to our room DID NOT close right. The headache from this hotel is still going….

This hotel is not up to the Marriott standards, and as a Marriott member, I only stay in Marriott but this hotel left a bad taste in my mouth. The continental breakfast was horrible all 4 morning I was there. The room was old, dated, carpet had stains, and had a musty smell. Ice machine was not working. Mini fridge did not get cold. The bed/mattress was sloped to one side like only one side of the bed had been slept on for years. Disappointed with this property.
