The pool is outstanding and the staff at the Costick center are very welcoming and helpful. The instructors for water aerobics are very knowledgeable and I always feel better after each one of the classes.

Update from 2 to 4 star -- the community seems really nice and I enjoyed the swimming facilities. They desperately need to update their website and Google presence to reflect the proper hours and schedule!!!

Fantastic and friendly lifeguards. Ensuring we all follow the rules to keep us all healthy and safe AND allow for us to exercise in the facility!!

Due to COVID restrictions, Costick severely limits attendance at activities. Understandable but then opened registration to anybody and without notifying residents first. Classes filled quickly. I don’t see why Farmington Hills taxpayers fund Costick when it’s open to anyone just a bit higher fee.

Went to this place being cheap however not worth it. My daughter has been in costic for last 4 season sessions of 8 weeks in each session and i did not see any improvement in her swimming and her last session instructor was very rude causing to loose interest in learning swimming.

Kids swim instructors are top notch and the lessons are affordable. I am not impressed by the lifeguards here. Every one I've seen on duty was talking to other people and barely watching the pool. The giant sign on the wall reminds me to watch my kids (I do anyway) because the lifeguard staff if there for "preventative" measures and not a lifesaving service. I get it. However, I've been to other pools where you're not allowed to approach, talk to or otherwise disturb the on-duty lifeguard. Would like to see that implemented here.
