I am very sad to leave a poor review: however, I hope this saves someone the stress that I experienced. I had been at this vet's office for 7 years when my 11-year-old cat developed a bump smaller than the size of a dime. I was terrified. While the staff was extremely kind, they did not aspirate the bump or even thoroughly pull his fur away to truly look at it. They offered to do basic blood work and 1 x-ray for $900, which I opted not to do when I asked if cancer would show in the bloodwork, and they responded with "not necessarily." They said, "there is no way to know what it is without removing it." They then quoted me at $4k-$5k for the surgery. My father's Great Pyrenees had a knee surgery for $2800, so this seemed wildly overpriced to me. I still have the paperwork to prove this is indeed what they quoted me. I waited a month to go see another vet less than 0.5 miles away, as that was the quickest they could fit me in for an appointment. For one month I worried and kept a close eye on my cat. Today, that vet said, "we definitely would need to aspirate it and take a sample before jumping to putting an 11-year-old cat under anesthesia if it is not necessary." Less than 3 minutes later, the bump was completely gone. It was a fluid filled cyst. That vet charged me $90 total and was so thorough and kind. I am thankful I got the second opinion. I cannot imagine putting my cat through a surgery for something that went away within minutes with a small poke requiring no aftercare as the vet used a fine needle. Go to the vet around the corner. It will save you and your pet an exponential amount of money and potentially even your pet's life, as anesthesia is not something to just jump to with senior pets.

We have been seeing Dr. Rozenbaum for 13 years with our dog, Belle. He and his staff have seen her through many illnesses and injuries and are continuing to take care of her in her senior years. I have the utmost trust and confidence in AVMC.

Best vet place in Farmington! Always takes wonderful care of my dog, and ensures that they talk me through everything that is going on, breaks down and explains pricing to me, and are always helpful!

I normally do not leave reviews, but this one has to be done!! If I could leave 10 stars I would. I came to Advanced Veterinary Medical Center for a second opinion on my German Shorthaired Pointers arthritis. I was little skeptical because it was a 45min drive with a GSP in the car.
From the moment I came through the door til the time I left the staff was absolutely amazing. Zero wait time, which was also amazing.
I was first seen by the Vet Tech Doug actually took the time to sit down and talk to me about the issues my pet was having and answered my question and concerns. This is something I normally didnt experience with my regular vet. Dr. Rozenbaum is amazing! He took the time to explain everything in detail, giving me options I was not aware of. Dr. Rozenbaum decided what was best for my 10 year old GSP and set a plan to move forward.
I appreciated the staff very much, even though it was very close to closing time on a Thursday evening, I did not feel rushed one bit while existing.
Dr. Rozenbaum, Doug and the Staff THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!! You have now gained another customer!!

I found the staff very friendly. They explained clearly what was being done, answered all of my questions and really seemed to care about (my dog) Harry's mood and comfort.
