Closed my last account after 34 years. The fees and rules just keep making my credit union the far better choice. Last statement I made .01 in interest, 10 dollars in fees. Shop around before you decide on a bank/credit union for your financial needs.

Employees of the bank are kind, courteous and patient. The manager, Chelsee has been helpful with the many questions I have had. Through the pandemic they have been able to help me bank. I highly recommend the Essexville branch.

Honestly just stay away from this place. I’ve been sitting in the parking lot over an hour and a half for the third time trying deposit a check and open a business account. I can’t even pay my employees right now and am forced to go to another bank because the managers won’t assist me. Currently waiting on a call for the second time after just talking to someone in the drive through. It’s currently 4:56 and they locked the doors at 4:45. I got here at 3:45. Sadly I’m going to be closing my other two accounts with this bank as well.

My favorite Independent Bank location in the Bay City area. Small town feel and they really care about their customers. I am a long time Independent Bank customer because their customer service has been for the most part top notch!
