“My girlfriend and I recently adopted a kitten from the Delta County Animal Shelter, and we’re beyond grateful for the experience. His name was Smoke when we first met him, but we changed his name to Boba… either after the tea ( girlfriend’s idea) or Boba Fett from Star Wars (I love the Boba Fett version!). He was shy and a little nervous at the shelter, but since coming home with us, he’s blossomed in only a short few days! Now, he craves affection and loves nothing more than cuddles and playtime. He’s growing into an active and happy little guy.
We also have another cat, Latte, so we’re taking the introduction slowly and we’re looking forward to watching their relationship grow. There’s no doubt in our minds that this is Boba’s forever home. We’re so lucky to have him, and we can’t thank the Delta County Animal Shelter enough for helping us find him and make him a part of our family.”
