Menards is a store that is ok. Employees are not always able to know where anything is or help you find it, and they may not greet or acknowledge you while you are shopping. Great, there is often great help just around the corner. An employee is always near and able to point you in the correct direction of what you need. Some associates are extremely helpful, leading you right to items such as a Leatherman, helping you choose the right one, and being very patient when you ask which tool belt would look best. In plumbing the associate spent half an hour figuring out how to fix a broken hinge and showed real service. The 11% rebate is a merchandise credit, not cash in your pocket.
The store itself is ok. Don't expect any of the employees to know where anything is, or help you find it, or even greet/acknowledge you while you're shopping. Because that's above their pay grade.

It’s Menards. They have tons of stuff. This one’s lines aren’t usually long at least.
