The people who work here are knowledgeable, efficient, pleasant, and professional. Prices are very reasonable, especially given the quality of service. My car (195,000 mi) has never run better. Thank you Linda, Craig, and staff.

While visiting family in Empire our pick-up broke down with engine problems on a Friday night. Dave's Garage was recommended, so we had it towed there the following day. Craig provided us with an accurate estimate and a time frame that would be convenient for us to get the vehicle back home down state.

August always seems to be a busy time of year in the auto service industry, but we were very grateful that Dave's was able to squeeze is in!
We had been stood up by Skips Auto in Munising the week before, and still needed to get our coolant, power steering, and transmission fluid (and trans filter) flushed and replaced.
I emailed the shop on a Wed and heard back the same day, scheduling an appt for the following week. The shop was considerate enough to offer a loaner car to use during the repairs.
When we picked up the truck, the receptionist and Craig both gave us a thorough breakdown of the services we received and what we may need to look into in the near future.
Would highly recommend Dave's to folks passing through town, or locals looking for a new auto shop.

My e-brake was stuck on and they gave my car back in a day. They disabled the system so I could get home. $160 all said and done

Amazing service. I was in from out of town and became worried about my tires. Craig offered to drive the car and see if there was anything actually wrong. I trust the opinion he gave me and am so grateful he took the time to help me out.

When you are on vacation and a glitch develops with your vehicle or your RV, your stress level goes through the roof and more so if you are far from home and your typical resources. I went to Dave’s garage with an important issue on my RV. Dave’s personnel, including their Lead Office manager, jumped into diagnose the issue. Even though they were fully booked, they took the time to help. I paid a very reasonable amount for their great assistance. I knew of their garage because a friend of mine had a similar emergency issue several years ago and was treated just as well.

These folks always do a great job, and fast too. It's important to me to have trust when it comes to having my vehicles worked on. Mostly because I'm not much of a mechanic lol. I couldn't imagine taking my vehicles anywhere else

Living in the area since 2018 with three cars to maintain, it was important to find a good repair shop. I've used probably half a dozen in that time, with varying degrees of success. Dave's checks all the boxes and I feel my search is over. They get you in and back driving in a timely fashion, do good work at a fair price, and often follow-up with a call to see how things are going. Craig is strong on customer relations and conveys a personal interest in your vehicle. In short, they seem to actually care, a rarity these days. Bonus for me is their second location in Empire which allows for a pretty drive away from TC for us west-siders.

I can’t recommend enough the kindness and compassion we received at Dave’s! When our car broke down a few miles away and the tow truck couldn’t accommodate passengers, Craig gave us a lift to the garage where we were able to wait safely for hours for a cab to pick us up. Even though he did not have time to fix our car, Craig let us hang out in the lobby, drink lots of water and gave our hungry kids ice pops! Thank you so much, Craig and the team at Dave’s!

Absolutely stellar experience at Dave's Garage in Empire. Craig and his crew went above and beyond installing new tires on my 2022 Tesla Model 3. Their kindness and expertise were unmatched. Craig's recommendation for tires tailored to my needs exceeded expectations. Highly recommend!
