We were supposed to be getting fiber optic run in our area 2 years ago. I have emailed Tim at Cherry Capital 3 times since October 2022 to get an update or see if we were no longer on the schedule to receive this service. Any information would have been helpful. I received zero response to my emails. If that is the type of customer service they provide then maybe we’re better off without it. Super frustrated.

I haven't read the 1 star review, but I can tell you that a 5 star is easily earned. I worked with Cherry Capital Connection, CCC, from the first telephone call to introduce themselves to completion. Yes, there were a few small issues, this was a huge project, but those were taken care of immediately. The management and staff at CCC are a dream to work with, never push you off on another or have you wait days. The speed- well, lets say FAST. If you or your government is considering CCC, you will not be disappointed. I am more than willing to personally speak with you.

I was responsible for bringing wider internet access to a remote community of a couple hundred homes, and began working with Cherry Capital Connection about 18 months ago toward that end. Relationship with management and staff was excellent as we came to an agreement, shared information about signing-up with our homeowners, experienced the building of the network, and were hooked up individually. CCC is truly a family-owned business, and they provided very personalized service that is a real comfort to those of us who are not particularly techy. When inevitable glitches occurred, CCC resolve them to the satisfaction of our organization and individuals who might be affected. This fiber optic build takes us into the future. People in our area can now work remotely or study virtually. It increases the value of our homes. It also gives us more entertainment options. It makes it more realistic for younger peopl to live in our area (not just the retirees). Very grateful to CCC for their excellent service.

If I could give it a zero, I would. I've been with this company for quite a few years, and had okay service the first few - sometimes slow, occasionally down altogether (especially in summer and between 4PM and midnight) - but this summer service tanked. I've called regularly since June with no improvements. Rumor is CCC is going fiber and ignoring other customers and that's been my experience. I'd be happy to edit this review if internet and customer service improves, but my advice at the moment is look elsewhere - anywhere else - for rural internet service. It took over ten minutes to load the review box!!

I first started working w/CCC three years ago when we moved into the Northport area. They were able to deliver a quality wireless product but over time Tim/Justin and the CCC team brought forward a fiber solution to an area encompassing 200+ homes. As a ‘Block Champion’ I worked hand in hand w/CCC through the permitting and sell-in to the neighbors process. Today we have in the ground fiber that has 1G capability and can be enhanced to 10G once that technology is available. If your area wants quality a install w/a team that does what they say they are going to do, I highly recommend CCC.

Quick response rates, great service by Justin. We recently got service installed at our Lakehouse property and Justin came out on the weekend and worked hard through the rain to install — internet has been working great.There was a recent service outage but the company/Justin responded quickly and solved . The internet is not very strong but we knew that (best you can get in the area until Fiber) and what’s most important is that it works and the company is responsive.We’ve signed up with fiber and looking forward to getting much better service soon.

I have been an Extremely Happy Customer of Cherry Capital Communications for the last 3 years. Recently, I had an Outage and was taken care of very quickly, professionally and efficiently. This Terrific Overall Experience prompted me to write this Review. First off, when you call you are connected to a live Technical Support Specialists to assist you with your Issue. Wow! Secondly, they check performance info to assess the problem right on the phone and what the corrective action is. My particular issue required a Field Tech to troubleshoot at my home. He was there next day and quickly resolved the issue. He did this with a smile on his face and said to me " that's why we are here" after I thanked him. for his efforts. Over the last 3 years there have been very few issues with my Internet's performance. When there is ,the service is prompt and professional. Everyone that I come in contact with communicates and supports in the same manner, Customer Friendly! I just wanted to take the time to thank and recognize this Great Team and Business. They are a Pleasure to work with and I appreciate the reliability and wonderful Customer Support that is Consistently provided! Thank you very much! Joe N.

CCC had their struggles and I was skeptical. We are part of the fiber network they installed and I have no complaints to report. The speeds have been fast and dependable with no interruptions.

The internet service you provide and what we paid for are way different. We paid for 8mb/sec internet, but only received 100kb/sec speeds on multiple tests on different days and times of day. If you do the math the speed of the internet you provided is 1.2% of what you said it would be and what we were paying for. That is unacceptable. I submitted two separate support tickets and still have not heard back regarding how to improve the speed. I know you are a growing company and are trying to gain subscribers, but I feel like you are taking advantage of people. To be honest if someone asked me if they should use Cherry Capital Connection for their internet, I would say no and tell them to look for someone else. Don't take it personal, but if your subscribers are paying for service of a certain speed and quality then give them that....that simple.

I live out south of Cedar. No cable, no fiber available. We had super crummy DSL and Satellite for years... terrible. Usually just ended up using my cell phones hotspot... Had Cherry Capital installed a week ago and BOOM! Finally we have usable internet! We can now stream, after all of these years! This is a huge change. Wish we had done this sooner! In order for my location to get service it required updating of one of their towers which took a few weeks. Once they had that ready they called and we set up the installation! Installers were prompt and courteous. Everyone has been super helpful and responsive when I call, which is a huge difference from calling the average utility provider where you are either forced to talk to a machine or routed to another country. Highly recommend!

The worst customer service I have ever had from any company. Paid for a year subscription including a fee for same day response on technical support. Of the 12 months it only worked well for 4 and did not work at all for 3 months. It took over a month to even hear back from them. They're tech support people are blatant liars who have no idea what they're doing. I work in the IT field and some of the excuses were ridiculous! Instead of just saying they didn't know what's wrong or how to fix it, they just made up things that don't even exist in reality. My favorite was different support people claiming a firmware update would fix it. 3 times I was told this while the guy on the phone pretended to do it. The hardware would have rebooted if they actually did it and the version # on the hardware would have changed I verified it did not. This company is so terrible they go out of their way to waste your time, obfuscate the truth and steal your money. Anything is better and best of all you don't have to deal with those assholes. Stay far far away.
