“Heck yeah!!! These guys know what they're doing. I have been looking and looking for a good quality, form fitting dress. I found not one, but two well maintained, almost new, dresses that I can feel good about wearing. Not because they look good, but because I'm not buying a cheaply made, thin fabric, poor fitting dress from a chain or corporation, but something of good quality from an organization that takes care of their shop and is down to earth.”
“Very nice people and a pretty good selection. Prices were good for what the items were. Not much in the way of children's clothing, shoes, or toys. But a pretty generous selection of both men's, women's, purses, and women's shoes. I didn't see much men's shoes. Some linens and home items. Very limited hours so make sure they are open before you go. I would absolutely go back.”

“Honestly, we must have driven past thousands of times and just stopped in on a prayer today. It is such a lovely shop! Super clean, super organized, and very fun to shop in! The owners were great. It's definitely not a "rummage through a bunch of junk to find a diamond for a dollar" thrift store - and while I appreciate that style of thrifting for fun... this was a great place for what we needed today-unique and QUALITY clothing for a special event on a time crunch. I'll be back- and am excited to shop the sections I didn't get to today.”
“Amazing selection and great deals. Very organized for the amount of product they have. Be prepared to wait a chunk of time on the weekends as it is clearly a very popular spot. They seem to be a bit understaffed but the men working at checkout were very friendly and polite and it’s not their fault if the place is understaffed!”
“The staff are always friendly and welcoming, they always have sales on top of sales, and many of my favorite shoes, shirts and pants come from this place. Definitely my favorite thrift store to date!”

“We recently moved to the area and were in need of furniture and household goods as we left most of our large stuff behind.They were having a holiday sale on their furniture. I found quite a few pieces charming. There was a super helpful employee that let us know about the sale and delivery options. He also informed us that they were picking up more furniture that day and it would be out the following Tuesday.The prices were great. The staff was friendly. And they do have quite a bit of furniture, clothing and other household items.”

“I have purchased clothing for myself, my 2 children and my husband from the Salvation Army for over 20 years. Our son, now nearly 20, will only shop at Salvation Army for his own clothes. Daughter, just over 21, only shops retail. She then gets depressed when she sees the same items at Salvation Army a few months (or a year) later! My 4 favorite Salvation Army stores are the one on Van Dyke in Centerline, the one on Dodge Park in Sterling Heights, the one on Gratiot in Roseville and the one on Harper and 13 Mile in St Clair Shores. They are close to my house and well taken care of. They are always clean. I prefer buying second hand items. It saves the landfills for awhile.”
“I love this store! This location is the “spot” too. I can’t even tell you the deals I’ve gotten on Victoria Secret bras, comfy hoodies, North Face, Hollister, Aero, & American Eagle to name a few! Moving up here from the south 5 years ago, needless to say my winter clothing was limited… but the first time hitting this place up I got a CK coat, converse shoes, 2 pairs of Levi’s jeans, 3 hoodies, and a gorgeous Victoria Secret bra (looked brand new) for $70! So yeah people, please don’t sleep on this store!! This Clinton Township location in particular!! . You can sign up for text messages & when they have their 50% off weekends they send you a text.… thrift stores are life! Value World is good place to score some signature pieces! The staff has always been very helpful and pleasant to boot!!”
“A nice big resale shop . Open and clear shopping spaces so it doesn't get congested like some do. The people are really the nicest around ! Nice quality items at affordable prices . Which I feel is fresh because some are getting pricey. And the company actually helps people in need. Great business.”

“Love this store pretty much has everything I wanted and more .. wish I had more time to go through the entire store but I will definitely come back and the cashiers are so sweet and friendly.. Kevin was so accommodating and helpful. The only thing I wish they had done was place somewhat of a fitting room ! I am disabled so it was difficult for me to change in front of the only other mirror by the employee door where I was standing in the way and blocking their way to the door. Trying things on is exhausting and not having actual place to try it on and sit down makes it even more difficult..I’m not sure why there is no fitting room but it would be an easy fix if you guys take that into consideration with some simple steps like adding curtains and mirrors attached in a corner with some benches but if not that’s fine too I guess .”
“I enjoy my visits to this location even just to browse. Pricing can be a bit scattershot (scatterbrained) but doable. I’ve definitely been to better which reinforces my 4star rating but nothing offensive overall.”
“Great selection of items. Great sales. Decent prices. Friendly staff. Just be sure you have cash. This is a cash only store. They do have 2 ATMs. The bathroom is almost always beyond disgusting, so heads up, especially if you shop with children who inevitably need to use the bathroom.”

“It’s a fairly big Salvation Army. I found a pair of nearly new Banana Republic Pants (retail $80) for $5. Each section is a good size. It seems like the changing rooms are never open though which I don’t want to have to go home and try on and bring back if it doesn’t work.”

“This is the *good* value world, to me. I'm hesitant to hype it up too much because I don't want clothes shopping competition, haha. If you're alt and like DIY, or if you're plus sized, this has the superior selection for all of that. I've never not found exactly what I'm looking for here.”
