Friendly staff! First time getting meat at a meat shop, so I was nervous on saying the wrong things, but the staff was super friendly and made me feel welcomed. Definitely Shopping here for meats from now and on.

Mario's is by far the best meat market in the neighborhood. Great prices, staff, and quality of products. On Wednesday's their head butcher sharpens my Global knives for $2 a knife. I don't buy meat from anywhere but Mario's. If you buy 10 lbs of FRESH boneless skinless chicken breasts it's $2.49 a LB. Can't beat that, especially if you're like me and have dogs that require special diets. Marios rocks!!!!

The cashier the first one a young girl with short hair and a tattoo on her right arm. Is just the BEST. SHE WAS JUST THE SWEETEST AND NICEST TO EVERYONE. ?

We love Mario's. We get here about once a month, just 2 of us and we stock the freezer. Staff is always very helpful and friendly. We always have a good size order and have never felt that we are being annoying. We used to go to Marco's on 9 mile before they closed (recommended) but Mario's selection is better.

I used to like their Italian sausage but they give you 2 choices mild and extra hot we like hot but they never have it

Excellent butcher shop! They have a great selection of meats and even a few specialty items. They also carry a decent amount of imported items, with the majority of those items being Italian. I really like their Beef Spindini, Brisket Burgers, and Meatloaf mix. I get all of my Ground Beef there as well. It's always better and seems to last a lot longer than what you can purchase at the grocery store. They have some very good Kebabs also. If you have not been there you should definitely give them a try. I certainly recommend them to everyone looking for a good butcher shop.

I love the store and supporting them as a small business however, after going back there yesterday for the 6-7th time, I wanted to see if anyone else had a negative experience with the cashier. I was not shocked to find that there were. Very rude employee who makes you hesitant to come back to the store. All times I have been here have unfortunately been like that.

Very disappointing selection of meat. Nothing of actual quality. Shame to call yourselves a butcher shop while only carrying second hand meats. Nothing appeared particularly fresh. And all meat displayed was "choice" at best, which is very low quality on the food scale. Nothing prime grade. Won't find wagyu. The sausage looked like it was 2 weeks old. Definitely not impressed. Didn't find anything that was quality enough to buy so can't speak on the taste. All around screams ghetto.

My first time there, and I loved it! From the young man behind the meat counter, to the cashier, the variety of meats, amazing!! Clean, friendly, and knowledgeable! I definitely will be back!

We love Mario's so much that we make the trip from the Algonac area a few times a year to stock our freezers and cor some fresh eats.The only thing that could make it better, is if they carried a small amount of the basic fresh produce.
