I had a horrible experience with the employee Kyle. I placed a pick up order in the app. The item was listed as being in stock online. My order was approved and I waited a few hours for it to be ready periodically checking my email. After 3 hours with no email activity I tried calling the store. No answer. I called the store 10 different times in the span of 2 more hours because the store was 30 min away, 1 hour round trip. When I arrive Kyle is smoking right next to the door where you walk in. Not only did I have to walk through smoke from his lungs but when I was in close proximity to him he literally smelled like human feces. He stank so bad; it was horrible. I asked him if anyone else was working he said no. I asked if he has heard the phone ringing for hours. He replied that “he was busy.” But he was outside smoking when I showed up. How could he be too busy to answer the phone 10 different times in 2 hours? Kyle told me he doesn’t have my item in stock, and cancelled my order after wasting all my time. Please fire this guy. He’s nasty and rude. He doesn’t pick up the phone; and it’s costing this location money. Online the cards are in stock; I’d check inventory and the cameras at this location. Maybe even look into the employees activities there (Kyle) cough cough. The item was currency trading cards; which are popular and a potentially high value item. But above all he stinks like he dropped a fat dookie in his pants and it literally was making me nauseous. If he was helpful or kind it would be one thing but this guy has a bad attitude for no reason.

Okay, i get working in the service industry sucks, and if your the only employee in the store at the time when your break comes up, but how are you gonna put a sign that says back at 3, and it's almost an hour and half passed that, and the store is still closed, what's going on here...

This GameStop is the absolute worst it used to be better yearssss ago but the customer service is absolutely terrible. If your a degenerate they hire you immediately if you actually have a brain they turn a blind eye. I recently pre ordered Mortal Kombat 1 for PS5 and it was such a hassle for what ?!? I asked hey where’s my beta code I should have it for the weekend it came out you know what this clown said oh you might have to have to call customer service, my manager is out of town!! WB has been advertising it everywhere and I went to another GameStop to ask and he was even perplexed. Now MK1 is out I pre ordered the premium and went to pick it up after work I and the store is closed to a tech issue ?!?! Unacceptable!!! I’ve held my tongue but this is it you lost my service I’m going to get my game whenever the store is open and I’m done. I paid in full and they said early access for premium Mk1 owners. Then I remember some time I went back and another guy was behind the desk he was cool I asked hey I don’t have my beta code and he was confused he said oh that’s weird it can’t be I just released it to 5 others that purchased the game before you came in. Then the other clown in the back said hey you might have to call customer support again ?!?!!!! Foh with that I’m not and shouldn’t have to do anything with customer support! The one decent person in there is that guy who helped me he’s kinda quiet but it’s straight.

This store is terrible, may look good looking into the store.But its a terrible customer service, treatment is terrible as there was only 2 customers in the store with two other employees yet I was ignored the entire time I was there.Even today when I was trying to get a PS5 I was outside in the cold for nearly an hour, I had to be told by other people who were there earlier that they have given out sticker to designate there getting a PS5.Nearly an hour, they came out and gave stickers to people yet couldn't inform myself and others who were out there and they knew people were out there and did nothing.I'm sorry this is inexcusable, this place has lost a customer forever.
