“They have clothes, shoes, a few kitchen wares and nice backs to choose from. I have found some gems there. Sometimes they have furniture to give away. The food items are mostly can goods, some fresh veggies, bread, cereal, you get a pack of hot dogs and a bag of chicken. Sometimes snacks. The can goods, hotdogs and chicken are a mainstay. Everything else changes as it is received. Worth it.”

33650 Gratiot Ave, Clinton“It was an ok experience, smaller than I thought. Didn't care for the put a 25 in the slot to get a shopping cart. No bags was another no go for me. The prices were about the same as Sam's or Costco, likes that the Kombucha was cheaper. Wasn't as impressed as I read I should be on a FB POST. VERY CLEAN , NOT ALOT OF STAFF. I WNT B SWITCHING from Sam's Club but would shop there if I was in a hurry and needed a smaller portion of something .”
“It has become my go-to grocery store. Their selection, prices, and eco-friendly practices make shopping there a breeze!) The produce is solid, and the prices are pretty reasonable. Recommend it for sure”

“The prices and quality are very good. You may not like everything there but you just find the things that you like, because the pricing is so good. I consistently go there every week to shop and get something of value every time. Great fruits and vegetables, breads and coffee too.”
“Aldi is pretty great all around and this particular location is my favorite one.
Lucky me, I have agoraphobia, anxiety and sensory processing issues. Grocery shopping is an ordeal that I have to psych myself up for. Aldi is uniquely awesome because the choices are limited. I don’t have to waste my time wondering which brand is best or doing price comparisons.
Their produce is decent; some things better than others. The organic baby spinach and French cut green beans are my favorites and they’re consistently good. They have a nice selection of quality meat, cheese and eggs.
The painfully bright, obnoxious lighting in stores always sets me on edge, but Aldi isn’t bad at all. It’s somehow less harsh than the average grocery store and they never play music over the P.A.
I love, love, love that they installed self-checkout stations. It’s my policy to avoid human interactions whenever possible, but on the occasion that I do require assistance the employees here are always very friendly and helpful.
Their plastic bag policy rocks my world. Bring your own reusable bags, collect empty boxes while you shop or pay for bags at checkout. Yes! Why doesn’t everyone do this? If people saw plastic bags as having monetary value, a lot of environmental issues would become far more manageable.
The concept of paying a refundable quarter for a cart is also brilliant. It means the parking lot is never littered with strays that will roll into your car and dent it. It means money is saved because they don’t need an extra employee to go outside and wrangle them. And that means you’ll find organic free-range chicken eggs for at least $2 less here than at Meijer or Kroger.”

All I can say is; please check the dates on your fruit packaging.
I love fruit. But I didn’t get the chance to look at the expiration date on my cantaloupe package; and it was out of date, and spoiled.”

15415 Gratiot Ave, Detroit“I can't remember the lady that helped me out. I was in there, doing instacart. And it was few items that I couldn't find she stopped what she was doing to help me. She was very pleasant, and so nice. The cashier, on the other hand terrible attitude. You all want people to come in there and frequent your store. But you all need to check your cashiers, they have attitude problems they don't like to answer your questions, they always frown up. You say hi, it its a very low dry high.”

41500 Hayes Rd, Clinton“I went into to buy indoor plants, and came out with some great finds and prices in favorite foods. Pot Stickers, Mac & Cheese, plus an old Aldi favorite, Tamato Pesto. Everything I bought was considerably lower than the price at my regular supermarket. I was lucky enough to have help walking into the store and lucky enough for their only electric cart. If not, I couldn't have shopped Aldi. That's the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5.”
“A smaller ethnic grocery store specializing in produce, meat and dairy products and cheese, but they have a little bit of everything. Prices are good compared to some of the bigger stores. It's packed pretty tight in there, so be forewarned.”

I'm not sure if this is a sale but I would definitely come back to see if the food prices stay within this range.Customer service with friendly to cashier was very polite and friendly as well.Definitely recommend you going here to shop.”
“Great options of groceries, fish, meat and chicken. Customer service is very good with reasonable prices. Best of all is, all products are Halal (kosher). Everything is very nicely organized and easy to find. Very clean store”
“If you are looking for a place to be a blessing to others this is it. Capuchin services not only provides food and clothing to individuals families going through a rough patch. They also have a small area dedicated to a home goods and some entertainment items such as books and tapes. While I was there a family who had just experienced a fire was being helped. Their reach goes beyond the building. They coordinate with another local agencies and provide assistance with furniture, housing, job-seeking and readiness. This is a great volunteer opportunity, especially for students trying to complete their community service hours for high school credit. The entire building is highly accessible for those in wheelchairs or with other types of unlimited mobility. For those unable to come in, they offer the opportunity for you to send a representative. This service agency truly fills the gaps that many of our neighbors fall in unbeknown to us. They definitely need and deserve our support.”
“Begin from Alabama I have a luv for yellow meat watermelon ? ? which is very hard to find here in Michigan can someone please help on more places to find them I'm greatly appreciated ? ? ☺ ?”
“Great produce! The meat counter is fully stocked, and they even have boars head meats. The counter person was very friendly and recommended we try the chili. It was the best I have ever had.”

“I’d heard good things about Farms Market catering and it was true! I ordered quiches, salads and a fruit tray for a baby shower. I worked with Susie and she helped me customize my order. It was ready on time for easy pickup. All of the food was delicious and looked beautiful too! Would definitely recommend!”
“My wife and I have only made a couple of trips to this store but we are impressed. They have little, juicy lemons instead of the mass-produced kind you find in the supermarket; onions that actually smell like onions instead of nothing; bulk almonds that taste as if they were recently roasted; gluten-free cookies at decent prices and abundant Middle-Eastern specialty foods. The place is small, but if you live in the general area, it is worth a look.”
“This is our Home Market! Great meats, Vegetables are always fresh, and the owners Tony and Claudia, and staff Laura, Shelly and my Deli Girls You always treat my wife and I like family. ?❤️”

“I usually go to the Dream Market on 15 Mile to pick up fresh Samoon and Khubz, but this time I decided to go a little further north to this location. Let me say that this 18 Mile store is the superior store. The interior is much larger, which is able to easily accommodate the large number of patrons without feeling way too crowded like the other store. This location also has a bakery area, large prepared foods counter, another area specifically for mezze and various salads/dips, and two huge aisles/areas filled with bulk spices, snacks, and candies. I thought the 15 Mile location had everything and was the best Middle Eastern/Iraqi market in Metro Detroit, but this place takes it to another level. Both locations always seem to have huge lines for fresh bread. Here, the samoon is 4/$1 for some of the freshest and puffiest bread you can find. The samoon are a little smaller than other places and don't have as much of a fire charred flavor, but they are fluffy, easily pull apart to reveal the pocket in the middle, and are the cheapest by far. The other location used to brush the samoon with olive oil and sesame seeds, but they didn't do it here. I'm not sure if it's just here or both places stopped. At any rate, there's a reason there is always a huge line for bread. In addition to samoon, the bakery area has sweet breads and khubz. We picked up some generically labelled "Sweet Pies" that were 4/$5.99 on a whim and wow, after trying it, I was super impressed. It's spiral layered dough that's soaked in sweet orange blossom water and then covered with pistachios and earthy spices, perhaps cardamom and cinnamon? The sugary mixture caramelizes on the bottom of the pastry and when baked, it creates a fantastic fried caramelized texture around the edges. I wish I knew the actual name of this sweet; I tried searching online but I couldn't find anything resembling it! From the prepared foods area, we picked up a giant 12 inch diameter Meat Pie (Aroog) for only $1. It turned out be be pretty mild in flavor and wasn't the most appealing to eat, but it was good to try. The mezze counter is so busy they have a number system so you know when you can order. We ended up only getting tabbouleh ($5.99/lb) but everything looked delicious. The tabbouleh here is the real deal, mixed with tons of parsley, onions, tomatoes, and bulgur. The amount of oil and lemon juice added is perfect; this tabbouleh honestly is cheaper and better than what you can get at many restaurants. It tasted very fresh - I saw a ton of people getting this, so I can imagine they constantly make more and refresh the offering. I didn't get the garlic or hummus this time - I've gotten them from the other store in the past and I have to say that they are kind of mediocre. The garlic is overly lemony and the hummus tastes like grocery store hummus. Perhaps this location is better; I'll have to try next time. At the end of our visit, we hit up the bulk section where we found a variety of things to try. Grilled Cashews ($6.77/lb) - These are extra crunchy cashews, skin on, salted, with a slight char taste. They have an aromatic, toasted flavor that is a step above your ordinary conventional roasted cashew. Unique and very yummy. Various Kri Kri/Japanese Peanuts ($3.99/lb) - Yum! These are peanuts covered with hard fried dough, then sprinkled with various flavors. Some are slightly sweet, some are very spicy. The coating has a very hard crunch - it feels like you could chip your teeth if you're not careful. I'm usually hesitant on buying bulk goods since they can get stale, but this store has such high turnover that everything seems to be super fresh. I'm used to buying the Kasugai brand roasted nuts assortment, which is way more expensive for the weight, so I thought this was a great deal. Funny thing is that apparently the Japanese Peanuts were invented in Mexico and in Japan, they call these Mexican Peanuts. Ulker Toffee Mastic Candy ($5.99/lb) - Woah, first time we tried mastic candy. It”
“My work has been using LoPiccolo produce for years and we couldn’t be more satisfied! Their produce is always extremely fresh and the deliveries are on time. Their customer service is always extremely easy to deal with and we couldn’t appreciate it more!”
“The fresh fruit and vegetable prices were more reasonable then any where else, and was good quality food, I also bought hamburger there for my stuffed cabbage I was cooking, the meat was fresh and tasted delicious in my stuffed cabbage”
