My door handle broke off my car and I had no idea how much it would cost or what I needed to do and they had it fixed within 24 hours for a very reasonable cost. I truly appreciate the assistance!! Thank you!

If you are going anywhere to get auto collision repairs done, you need to go to Tripps Collision-East Lansing. I am definitely rating them 5 stars.As soon as I walked into the office, the courtesy of the staff made me feel as if I were at home. They were understanding of the problem I was having, then immediately worked with me to see if I would need to go through insurance or if it would be a repair that would need to be paid out of pocket.Afterwards, they diagnosed the repair with me. They discussed it in laymans terms so that I could understand what was wrong, and what needed to be done.Afterwards, they got me scheduled for an appointment as soon as possible. Which was speedy. I was impressed at how early they got me in on their schedule.When I brought the vehicle in, the vehicle was fixed professionally and a quality job was done.Then, even though it was a small job that needed to be done, they gave me the repair free of charge!If you are going to go anywhere to get your car repaired, GO TO, Tripps Collision-East Lansing. They are courteous, speedy, and do a great job. ?

The State of Michigan has visited Tripps over their fraud committed to my Allstate Insurance after I filed against them. Not only did they bill for services they told me they could not do, they then doubled down and refused to give back ALL of the monies! Keep in mind, my car wasn't even on their premise's while they billed for services "they performed on my car!!" "Brandon" jumped in after I inquired for 3 weeks on when my Mercedes was going to be fixed, again. I never dealt with him during my interactions with the E. Lansing Tripps. Brandon proved to be less than respectable, and if he thinks stealing from YOUR auto insurance is founded at any time, that tells you how horrible Tripps has become. Doesn't matter how many ads you put on TV, how you treat your clients without integrity, will close you down eventually. Go where there is good, reputable Collision experts, these folks are NOT it.

This location committed fraud, billing for services they knew they could not perform on my Mercedes, and now refuses to give me the monies so I can pay the above board shop. I have been called a liar, and treated with no respect on top of that. They are nothing better than crooks, and I am reporting them at the State Level

Office staff (specifically Steffny) was great to work with. The work itself took forever, some of it was no fault of their own, but still with little communication unless my wife or myself called. When I got my car back there was an issue with my passenger side window, the seatbelt guild, and styrofoam was left from the paint job. When I brought it to their attention they got right to it, at no cost to me, other than my time. Overall I am happy with the job and would definitely recommend working with them.Services: Painting

I purchased a brand new spoiler from GM and decided I’d have these guys paint it, the paint code is nothing fancy just a standard GM color and for the price I paid the outcome was absolutely terrible. After 4 days of letting the paint settle I came back to bubbles and cracks all the way across it, along with debris under the paint in multiple areas. I brought this to their attention of course and after being told they wouldn’t warranty it by the front desk attendant, I asked to speak with Mr. Tripp. I was given the number to his location so I called and asked him about it, he told me to drive it to him(20 miles out of the way) so he could decide whether or not they would repaint it. I offered to send photos instead since it was quite obvious how bad it turned out in them. Eventually he got back to me and told me to bring it to his location so they could redo it once more by claiming the paint as defective, no warranty if it failed again of course. I appreciated this very much and was hoping it would turn out well, until he ripped it from my back seat and started digging into the paint with a pocket knife, obviously marring up the spoiler. Come to find out, it hadn’t been prepped beforehand at the other shop, this was admitted by them. I received a call later in the week and was told it was ready to be picked up, I showed up with a good mindset and of course nobody knew why I was there or if I had to pay again. Eventually it was worked out and I left with my spoiler, and once again after 4 days of letting it settle it has failed again, exactly where he dug into it with his knife. Lastly, while removing the poorly done tape job from the studs I found that every single one of them was completely coated in paint and had been broken loose (likely from him ripping it out of my back seat) so they all spin and wobble around instead of being set, rendering my $500 investment worthless. I’m extremely disappointed with the quality of work Tripps does, and how they handle business. I have now learned from other parties that their shops are not all they’re made out to be, and there have been multiple others that have had similar issues. I will never recommend this business for anything insurance doesn’t cover, get some spray cans you’ll probably get a better result.Wyatt ChapinService: Painting

Professional. Understanding. Human. Are just three words I can use to describe Tripp's Collision of East Lansing. I went in after I had a bad experience at another body shop, and Jimmy took the time to listen to my concerns and questions.He listened carefully and explained to me in detail the process, and was more than willing to work with my exact needs.
