Jessica is the best. I never really stuck with one stylist until I found her. She cuts my kids hair too and I'd patient. She listens and gives great advice. I recommend her to everyone! I am always happy there.

I got a spray tan here that was aloe based, gluten free, vegan, paraben free by an esthetician who was knowledgeable. They also offer plant peels and aveda products. I will update with my spray tan success in a few days!

I called Heat in hopes of setting up a hair trial for my wedding. Jessica explained to me that because the salon is located inside a fitness center, they were not able to open on time with other salons after COVID-19 shutdowns. She was very understanding that I needed to book elsewhere and took time to talk through what I wanted anyway, so I would be better prepared in my stylist search. I highly recommend Heat Salon for the service alone!

My Honest Opinion Initially I gave heat salon 3/5 stars. It is a small salon, previously a blow dry bar, attached to my health club, very convenient for me. However, the owner told me that if I did not give a better rating that she would not do my hair. So I raised the rating, but I ALWAYS felt guilty for lying to soothe her ego and for my ease. Is Heat a 5/5 salon like David Mallett of New York? Absolutely not. As far as the local Lansing area goes? I would say Douglas J would get my best vote. Heat Salon is convenient for members at The M.A.C., not up-to-date on its website and pretty good. I would give it a 3/5, but being coerced by a hairdresser is so weird, I've got to drop it down a half a point 2.5/5

This is my first time at this salon ever as a matter of fact I used to go to Salon De Lourdes and my colorist and hairstylist Mindee Forsberg left and went to The Heat Salon in the MAC. I love the atmosphere not only does Mindee do a phenomenal job on my hair. The Owner Jessica and the other awesome person Jetemy is the most hospitable people you will ever meet.

I'm not from the Lansing area, I was only in the area for about a day and had the urge to get my hair done. Heat Salon got me in on short notice, and Jessica did an amazing job on my hair! 10/10 would recommend. She even gave me tips on how to keep my curly hair in style and gave me ideas on how to style my hair. Would definitely come again when I'm in the area.

Didn't give me what I asked for. Gave me the opposite. Also, I was told I would be charged more only if the apointment went over the time allowed. The apointment did not go over and I was still charged extra. Disappointing. I suggest they start giving their customers what they ask for; - they are not going to be in business for long if they don't start. So disappointing. The extra money I spent is only the cherry on top of the cake. The real disappointment is how I now have a hair style I do not like and I have to pay to get it fixed elsewhere.
