Joe is the man. Cannot say enough about how great he made the stay for my company! Over 20 of us had to check in within a short time. He was able to check us all in (doing 2 at a time by himself). Outstanding customer service and such a nice face to the hotel. The rooms were solid as well. Give Joe a promotion Marriot he deserves it!!!

Rooms were base level but nice. The pool was good temperature, shallow (3-4 feet throughout entire thing).
The lobby is a higher level, with a bar, etc.

Great place with good prices. They listen to your complaint and fix the problem quickly.
Nearby activities: Lots of restaurants are around walking distance, clean food, and good quality. Room service is great.

Our go to hotel for quick and easy access to our college student. We stayed here thru Covid as well. Hotel is dated stylistically, but it is clean, convenient and all staff are welcoming every time we visit. They book up quickly for football weekend games and graduation. Plan ahead!
The rooms are spacious, but very dark and dim. Beds are very comfortable. When needed, the foldout couch was useful.

I was in East Lansing a single night for a conference. This Marriot was great, and the service was excellent. I was not only able to check in early, but Heather at the front desk went above and beyond to be accommodating. I specifically asked for a room where I could have a view to (knowing I would be spending time working) and she swapped my keys for me after check in. Will stay again when I return to East Lansing.

I was there December 16, 2023 and I would like to say I stayed at the Hyatt and I walked through the Marriott side and was pleasantly surprised by the customer service from the bartender DeShawn who fixed excellent drinks and gave excellent service. Also Pierre and Antonio who displayed magnificent customer service skills at the greeting desk. They all need raises. Kudos ??Food & drinks: GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE ??
