It’s all really lovely food. The salad dressing is out of this world - it’s a secret, so don’t ask what’s in it. All the flavors are balanced.

(i) The indoor decor is stunning and unique. I have not seen this type of interior design in other restaurants.(ii) The washrooms were so clean and spacious that it made me feel like I was at home (This point is usually not noticeable or not written in a review for restaurants)(iii) I went in a group of six, and we tried both veg and non-veg food. The food was delicious and better than some of the Indian restaurants I have visited. My only complaint is that the sambusas are a bit oily.

Best restaurant in the area that has vegetarian options as well as meat! Unique food that you won’t find anywhere else around Lansing unless you head towards Detroit or Ann Arbor. there are always vegetarian options.Dining Inn is an amazing experience, extremely clean bathroom.

Not an authentic experience. Poor food. Waiter was nice but mixed up out cards. They also had an ant problem.

Small dining area, so things are a bit crowded. Very tasty food. They offer both mild and spicy foods. If you're not sure, opt for the milder options, I chose the Friday special, which is one their spicier choices, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Parking is somewhat limited.

Absolute favorite restaurant in Lansing. Food and service are excellent, I order takeout probably 1-2x per month. Thank you, Altu's!

Food is always great and consistent! Only thing I would change is a bigger salad and put it on the side for take out orders so its not warm by time you get home.

This was my first visit; lunch with a friend. Service was exceptional, and the food was delicious. Pleasantly surprised by the greens and cabbage. We will be back.

One of our favorite local places with great food, great staff, and a great space. Dining in has always been a good experience, though we typically will order takeout. There has never been a bad meal any time I have been, and everyone has always been very friendly. The only frustration is that our pickups will often have plastic utensils and napkins despite requesting they not be included, but in the scheme of things, this is a very minor issue. Otherwise, I haven't found anything to complain about.Vegetarian options: Many good options with great variety.Parking: There is free parking right outside, but it does tend to fill quickly.Wheelchair accessibility: Standard access through a single door via sidewalk. Movable chairs and tables inside.

First time having Ethiopian. Asked the waiter for recommendations and followed them. Food was phenomenal, not a flavor profile I’m used to. Not from here, but this place has motivated me to find Ethiopian places in my city. Eating with just the Injera bread and no utensils was enjoyable. The Sambusa had no business tasting that good. Will definitely come back when I’m back in the area.
