Communication seems a bit lacking at times. Not enough to use another pharmacy, but just enough to be annoying. My son’s medication always has to be ordered, they never have it there. I try to be proactive and make sure refills are submitted a few days to a week early to ensure that it runs smooth. This time wasn’t super smooth. The pediatrician said I could refill a week ahead, but it’s apparently 3 days. Shaw’s had the script but nobody bothered to tell me that they needed a few more days until they could fill it. Knowing they always have to order it, I left it alone, until today. I find out that they’ve been able to fill it since yesterday but nobody bothered to even do anything with it. I call about it and now won’t have it until Monday because like I said, they never have his meds in stock. I could’ve been called days ago and somebody could have had this medication ordered yesterday to get here today. So I guess in the future I’ll have to call for information rather than depend on them to call me with any issues.
