First time here
I mostly enjoyed my hair cut it just felt a little rushed but that could be because I was 5 minutes late. I scheduled for the extra time for long hair. Otherwise a really beautiful space and good energy, professional stylist and I love my hair cut thank you ?

I have never gotten my hair highlighted and I went in yesterday and got it done by Ashley and it was the best! It’s exactly what I wanted and I have dark hair so it wasn’t an easy job and left feeling the best! Definitely worth the money! Better than any place I’ve been to!

Park Avenue is the best salon around hands down. If you know what you want and their vibe/asthenic matches your needs there is no better place! Amber and Ashley are fantastic and you always know you’re going to come out with an amazing look.

Been coming to Ashley Miller for my hair needs for over a year now, she’s the best!!!!! Helped me gradually return to natural color after years of box dyeing. Couldn’t recommend her more!!

I’m sorry to have to publish this, because I really don’t want to harm anyone. However, I want to be clear as to the reasons why I’m no longer a customer at Park Avenue Salon. They have a beautiful salon in Dexter, which I wanted to like very much. First appointment went well, but during the second appointment,the same operator cut bangs with out asking if I wanted them. I had just completed the process of growing them out! I want to give her the benefit of the doubt, but it was a pretty significant mistake. I had asked her how she thought bangs would look, and then I told her, “ no, I want to keep my style the same - with no bangs.” I was very upset by this mistake, as I felt I had been very clear, and hadn’t been asked for any further clarification. I left a message on the shop’s machine-all I ever seem to get is voice mail. The owner did return the call fairly promptly, but to sum things up, she simply responded, “What do you expect me to do?” She agreed to a refund, and then suggested I make an appointment with another operator who specialized in short hair. I took the risk, rescheduled, and the next cut went well, but it’s taking forever to re- grow my style. I do like this stylist, but I don’t get the impression this salon really wants business because 2 of my next appointments were cancelled. I rescheduled one, but the second time around, I was offered no possible alternative times to reschedule. and it is fairly difficult to reschedule at Park Avenue. Then there was the nail tech who left a text message canceling my nail appointment with no reason or to offer alternative dates. I’m done!
Wow! I just read the response to my review, and must say that I’m quite surprised at the vitriol I received for what I feel was an honest review which purposefully avoided any use of stylists’ names. No personal attacks were made in my review, so I can only assume I hit a nerve. This business’ response and personal attacks seem a bit unprofessional. I can understand supporting the employees’ involved in these incidents, however, by the libelous comments made, the owner shows a certain lack of class. I have no problem with being told not to return. Go at your own risk, but if your review is negative in any way, be prepared to be attacked.

I moved to this area of MI from New York over a year ago and tried a couple of salons in Ann Arbor area that were good, but not great. I am so happy I found Park Avenue! Amber is AMAZING at what she does. I've gone to salons in New York and LA - this salon is BETTER than most of previous cut and color experiences I've had. For an exceptional cut, color, and style - Amber is IT!
I've also started bringing my partner for men's barber cuts with Ashley! She is wonderful, great at what she does, and so down to earth. Everyone I've met here has been consistently professional and it helps that the space is beautiful! Highly recommend.

Amber gave me a fantastic cut, color and style and was super friendly and welcoming to me as a new client. The salon is the cutest spot with bright natural light and a fun vibe and music. Experience was great, I’ll be back soon!

I don't see a specific stylist and will make an appointment with whoever is available that fits my schedule. (I love that I can book online!) Everyone is so friendly and I enjoy the different personalities as much as the techniques they use to keep my hair up to date. I will have to stay I have been to three different stylist and I won’t be coming back to Park Avenue. I was in the chair for 5 hours for the stylist get some red out of my hair and then she puts bright red color in my hair instead and looked horrible with my blonde. She didn’t even style my hair like she should of and I even told her I didn’t like the red and she didn’t even saying thing about fixing it.Service: Hairstyling

I love Park Avenue! I have been seeing Amber for 8+ years and have always been so happy with her work. She is always friendly and does a fantastic job at both cuts and coloring. I’ve also gotten my nails done by Hope 4 times now. The gel-X lasts longer than any mani I’ve gotten before and I’ve received so many compliments on my nail art and colors. I love this place and highly recommend it to anybody looking for beauty services!Services: Manicure
