I recently took my anxious (reactive) large dog for a visit here. I am beyond thankful and appreciative for the care we received. The staff at MiVet went above and beyond for my dog and were extremely comforting and accommodating. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this establishment and their staff! Thank you to MiVet!

I absolutely love Dr. Chris, at MiVet. I've been taking my girls (guinea pigs) there for a little over a year and absolutely can't imagine going anywhere else. They always take such good care of them, and are very knowledgeable in GP care (which is a rarity). I know I've found my life time vets office, and couldn't be happier about it.

Brought my 2 cats for their first visit and was very happy with the experience. Super clean. Bailey was our introduction and she sat on the floor connecting with the cats. Vet Jules was kind and professional as well. We are happy to have found a new practice we and the cats are comfortable with!

My vet retired and they stepped up and took my dog for an urgent situation. They were caring, professional and handled a complicated case with extreme care. I will be a permanent client. Highly recommend.

I love MiVet! I forgot that u had to have a form filled out for my pup for obedience class and they were able to fill it out really quickly even though they were slammed! Everyone there is so kind and my dog can be very dramatic but they were able to give me some recommendations and have cared for him and my older pup really well.

My best vet experience in over 60 years! Exceptional pet care. Great communication with owners and who knows, maybe with my sweet cat Bubbie too. Professional, personable , knowledgeable, and an all around the best customer care for pets and people. Highly recommend.

I do not give failing grades lightly, and have *never* before done so for a vet. But this was earned, thus this lengthy explanation.
I rescued a cat a while ago and she quickly developed urinary tract issues. I took her to an emergency vet for immediate treatment, then to MIVet for follow-up urinalysis and meds. Six weeks later, another UTI, another Sunday visit to EVH, another follow up needed with MIVet for another urinalysis.
I called MIVet to schedule the urinalysis test--same as before. I was given an appointment, same as before. I arrived with my poor cat and was put in a room. A tech came in, weighed her (it took her 2 tries to use the scale) then sat on the floor and started mumbling about getting an ultrasound from a board-certified internist.
I was there for a urinalysis, per their scheduling and instruction.
The vet came in and I asked why the tech was talking about ultrasound when I was there specifically for a urinalysis. The vet asked if the front desk had scheduled me (who else???). When I said yes she sort of rolled her eyes and said they didn't know what the intervals should be and it was too soon to do the test.
The ethical thing to do at that point would have been to apologize for *their* mistake since I was there per their scheduling and instruction, ask me to reschedule, and send me home. That would have been the ethical thing to do. Instead, the vet took my cat and started a general exam.
There is a saccharine sentence on their bill saying " If there was anything that we could improve upon, please get in touch directly". Well, I tried. I protested that my cat did not need an exam; she was there only for a urinalysis that *they* scheduled. And certainly there was nothing to be learned that couldn't wait 5 days until I returned for the still-required test. The response to this was that a vet can see things the owner can't and that an exam was necessary.
I was there just for a urinalysis, per their scheduling and instruction.
The tech then chimed in to say that I didn't know how to give my cat her meds, or when she was in pain, and that the atmosphere in my home was probably tense and adding to the cat's UTI proclivity. This from a woman who needed two tries to operate a weight scale. So they charged me for an utterly unnecessary visit--and I *still* had to come back for the urinalysis.
When I returned for the test, the vet seemed to have figured out that she had gone way over the line and piled on patronizing, saccharine condescension about how she knew I cared for my cat or I wouldn't be there. The tech (a different one) added that they had been worried that my cat was living in a "toxic environment"--her exact words to.my.face.--and they were glad that *I* was better. Yes. She said that. Really.
I have been caring for and protecting my cats since before any of these people were even born. The immeasurable lack of professionalism in this place is exceeded only by the appalling and egregious level of insult.
The fundamental failure of this practice is not that they are mercenary, condescending, patronizing, and profoundly insulting--all of which was my experience. The basic issue with this practice is that they can't--or won't--differentiate between a sick cat and a cash cow.
My cat deserves better. Yours does, too.

From the moment you step into MiVet with you fur baby, its evident this is a place that loves animals, and treats them with love, and care. We had heard high praise from our friends, and our first visit did not disappoint!
Everyone we had contact with was wonderful, kind, attentive, and Dr Chris listened to our concerns and answered them all thoughtfully, professionally and was very knowledgeable. We had a great experience! Thank you!!!
