Pleasant to talk with.I had my oil changed and tires rotated the week before going to Marks auto.The said front end was good but rotated my tires without telling me.The bill was $70 to me that’s very high.A call to me would have been appreciated.Paul

Recently had the car at the dealership for a recall and their zillion point check said a bunch of maintenance needed to be done. I took it into Marks (first time going there) for a second opinion in what needed to be done. When they called to talk through items, they asked when the oil had last been changed. I explained that the receipt from the last oil change was in the car and that it had been full synthetic. I asked if they could check the receipt to see if it was due, and to do the oil change if it was due, and to not do the oil if it wasn't due. The guy insisted that the manufacturer recommendation was conventional oil, even though that was the opposite of what the last place has said. He said that for synthetic, it should be changed every 5k. They ended up doing the oil change, but when I got the car back I checked the previous receipt and it had been barely 4000 miles since the last change. I called Marks to figure out why it has been changed / give feedback that when someone says to do the oil change if it's due, they probably do not want it done for full synthetic at 4k. She stated that they do conventional oil there so the mechanic would have been using 3k as the benchmark, and I explained that I had told them the last change had been synthetic and it said full synthetic on the receipt in the car. Furthermore, I checked the car owner's manual and it says change oil every 7500 miles, which presumably assumes synthetic, and everything I could find online indicates that Hyundai recommends synthetic, not conventional as the guy there insisted (even claiming he double checked). I hope this was just a miscommunication given the other positive reviews, but this was my experience.

The "low oil pressure" light came on in my husband's car and we asked if they could look at it. They said they could try to take a look but it might be a few days. They were able to look at our car the next day and it was not good news. But, they did this for free. They are such a great auto shop and so honest!

This shop did an amazing job getting me scheduled in quickly for brake issues on my car, communicated diagnosis, repairs needed, completed work quickly, and charged a reasonable amount. I highly recommend Mark's Auto Service for repair needs!!

Had a wandering steering issue on my 06 F250, so I brought it in for an alignment. After the alignment, nothing had changed and I brought it back for another look. He found a little play in the track bar bushing. I finally inspected myself and found the upper and lower ball joints were seized. I replace them and that fixed the issue. I could have saved five hundred bucks on the on an alignment though?

When everybody was too busy to fix my rear tire with a screw in it Mark's Auto told me to bring it in and within a half hour they had it fixed and I was out the door. I'd say that's something to be thankful for!!

I really like this shop, they are trustworthy, don't try to sell you things you don't need, and do very good work. Nothing but positive experiences here, my only gripe is they get backed up with work, which is how it is when people like a business, so schedule in advance and you'll get what you need done for a good price.

They are friendly and fast. On two different occasions, they were able to accommodate my need for a new tire within two days, even though they were already very busy. They even let me know my oil was due for a change and offered to change it before I got my car.
