If you want unique gifts, furniture, home decor, apparel and design services in Dexter Michigan? I recommend you check out 3Bird. The city will be celebrating their 200th anniversary. This may be a great opportunity to visit.

Chirp chirp! ? 3bird isn't your average home goods store. It's a treasure trove of unique finds that will add a touch of whimsy and charm to your home. Think cozy throws, quirky candles, and hand-painted ceramics that tell a story. My wife wandered through the aisles, oohing and aahing at every turn. ?
But 3bird isn't just about the stuff. It's also about the experience. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and they're always happy to help you find the perfect piece. Plus, the store itself is adorable, with its exposed brick walls and vintage furniture. It's the kind of place where you could spend hours browsing and chatting with the staff.

This charming gift shop sits right on the main road into Dexter, providing a bit of window shopping, aspirational household imagination, and a fine place to purchase some unique presents for friends and family. Or yourself! No judgment. The shop falls into three main categories:* Furnishings and upholstery, with a broad selection of fabrics and textiles to find your perfect look. I didn't spend much time really examining these options but they had some very lovely, inviting couches and beautiful chairs.* Home decor, with a strong focus on decorative pillows, artwork with a definite sophisticated farm/natural feel, and other elegant decorations that would look lovely on a mantelpiece or a coffee table.* Clothing and jewelry for women, like pretty socks, neutral-hued shirts, flowing skirts, and soft comfy sweaters, and hairclips and earrings that feature a lot of naturalistic and floral motifs. Nothing too crazy, a lot that feels soothing and relaxing. We weren't mobbed when we visited and found it easy to browse. With so much to look at, a visit can take a while. Price points run from $5 to over a thousand for furniture, with many nice gifts in the $25-50 range.

This visit was a surprise, to see such an upscale, well designed home decor store in such a small town and in the older more rustic area. We had been shopping in the hardware store across the street and on the way to a light lunch took a look here first. We saw beautiful accent pieces and small items but clearly they do a lot of design with custom fabrics too. Apparently they must have been working on such a project in back because we did hear some voices in quiet discussion, but there did not seem to be a way to summon someone from the counter. I did find something I wanted to buy but had some questions. We eventually went towards the back and asked if someone could come out front to help. A staff member or perhaps owner did come out and gracious offer to help. The item I wanted was packaged in such a way that it was impossible to see how to hang it or otherwise display it without opening it completely and taking off the tags. The staff said she had never seem them out of the package herself so she did it. There were several styles and I was only interested in the bees. It would have been nice if they had on choice open on display to make it easy for the casual browser. I did get the item, which was hand made in Denmark of felted wool though actually priced very well.Everything was handles so nicely and I wish I could have chosen more items from here when I was still decorating my home, but the item I got is a nice memento of the trip and the town. I only worry that they might need a higher presence in the front room for security reason and to encourage people to linger and buy. Maybe they do on the busy weekends and normally have few customers on a Monday morning.

We went in to purchase chairs. Rather than being welcoming or kind the woman, who I believe is one of the owners, was short with us and had no interest in helping us. The last time we went in, it took more than 15 minutes before someone acknowledged us. If this is how this local merchant is going to treat customers, I think I’ll stick to the big box stores where they are always happy to customers. Particularly customers who buy stuff.

Absolutely love this store. Worked with Cathy and the two Laura’s on a couple of different projects and anyone who has seen the end result wants to duplicate. They have impeccable taste and a keen eye for cool products

Great customer service! Cathy was so helpful in helping select furniture and coordinating pillows with my existing furniture. Everyone there has a great eye for design but still allows the customer to have their individual style. The store has such a wide variety of unique decor and at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended!
