The doctor is excellent but the staff are rude, lazy and unprofessional. The wait time is 4-5 hours.

This pharmacy is a scam. They took our son's prescription and the pharmacy card. Asked him to come later. He went the same day but it was closed. He called several times, the phone is dysfunctional. My son is without his medication from 15 days now. He followed up with email. They replied saying some BS with the building not accessible etc. I am still chasing these people to get our card and the prescription back. I would not go there again. Please avoid if you can, most untrusty business practices.

When its open I can usually be there and be out within 10 minutes or less... but the hours are wrong or they just decide to close early with no notice. I am now left without my antibiotics until monday, all because it says they close at 6pm. I went there at 4:45pm. The hours aren't even listed on the sign. Very unprofessional especially when people's live are endangered by not being able to get their medication because of wrong hours, or early closings. Not to mention when I call the phone just hangs up instantly. Will probably have to switch pharmacies because of this fact, I liked it cause it was close and reliable back when they were Carpenter Pharmacy.

University Pharmacy offers services that cannot be duplicated at CVS or your family physician. Need a shingles vaccine? University Pharmacy recorded my email to advise when Shingrix became available; we received an email and got the vaccination. We have been on the list at Henry Ford Health, CVS, and family doctor for much longer with no notice of availability. We take our grandchildren here for flu shots, because the expert professionals care about doing a good job without pain: no more tears, they feel nothing! Students can purchase cold medicine at 1/2 the cost of CVS, and the pharmacist will guide you to the nighttime or 24 hour variety. No shelve stocking clerks here, all responsible intellectual pharmacists competent to answer any question. Students need ready access to low cost medical supplies, birth control, and a granola bar or beverage for 75 cents. The loss of this caring facility hurts the students, university personnel, their families and the public. WSU made a bonehead decision to remove an on site pharmacy, especially when Pharmacy School students have an opportunity to work in their profession. Bring back University Pharmacy!!!

My daughter walked all the way there in the cold and snow to get a script she's been out of. She's now feeling sick without it. Website said closes at 4. She gets there at 3:15 and they're closed! This mom is NOT happy!

Could have at least notified your customers. With more than a note on the door. Called numerous times. Went

What an amazing, community-oriented business! We need more businesses like this in the area, and everywhere else for that matter. Maria treats her patients, employees and students like family and that isn't easy to come by. University Pharmacy is a great example of exactly what other pharmacies should be striving toward. I had so many unique opportunities as a pharmacy student rotating through her pharmacy that I never would have had otherwise. She collaborates with other entrepreneurs, pioneers innovative pharmacy ideas such as medication therapy management (MTM) and is an inspiration to everyone around her.

These people need to get their act together with their open hours. When they are open, I don't have a problem with them and they're actually very quick and efficient. But when my working hours are specific and I am led to believe the pharmacy is still going to be open when I'm out based on their website and on their signs on the door (which, might I add, don't match and the door says they open at "9ish" and close at "5ish")... This is inaccurate. I showed up at 4:02 on a Monday afternoon to pick up a prescription they told me to come back for "later in the day" with no specific time and the woman inside just looked at me as the doors were locked already. Apparently the new "5ish" is 4, or even the website's 4:30. This is the most ridiculous thing, set straight hours so people know, seeing as I ran out of the important, daily medication I need thanks to this place. I will not be returning to this pharmacy until they have set hours. Not having set hours on a place as important as a pharmacy is literally the most asinine thing I have ever heard. People depend on being able to pick up their prescription on time.

They close at 3:30 and offer no information on their hours of operation besides a printed sign on the door.

Maria Young is the most knowledgeable and friendly pharmacist I have ever met. She goes out of her way to answer all my questions which shows she cares. I would definitely recommend University Pharmacy and Maria Young to get your prescriptions and answer all of your health and medication questions.

These people are accommodating and polite. They get to know your needs and make sure you don't go without. Best Pharmacy ever. I've seen customers that act like a** holes so I'm not surprised they gave bad reviews, this is detroit. a the truth is, this pharmacy is great.
