This place is truly the perfect venue. All of the staff are extremely helpful, the decor already there is perfect for any event. We hardly had to add details to make our event gorgeous. Thank you whiskey factory for such a fun evening!!

Working with the Whiskey Factory is a dream!!! We hosted my sisters engagement party there. From initial emails, communication leading up to the event, and day of - their communication was prompt, kind, helpful, and all around amazing. We picked this location not only for the amazing vibes and uniqueness, but because the staff was truly amazing and truly cared about us and our event. As a wedding photographer I always took this place for granted for how nice they were to me as a vendor and how pretty the space is, but it was awesome to see what it was like to be a client. Absolutely recommend them for your next event!!! (we love alyssa !!!! the kindest soul!!!)

Whiskey Factory makes it easy to have a fun and successful event. Their space is interesting and comfortable. The drinks are top notch. The staff was amazing to work with throughout the planning process and during the event. I couldn’t have done it without them!

We got married at the Whiskey Factory in September of 2023 and I can't imagine us choosing any other venue. The industrial, moody vibe was just what we wanted. We were able to customize the space; picking the tables, chairs and linens we wanted and working with the WF team to create a floor plan. So many of our guests commented on the unique atmosphere. They also couldn't stop raving about the next level DCD cocktails and delicious food through Two Unique.The whole WF team was so kind, patient and responsive throughout the planning process. Alyssa, Amelia and Bethany were absolute pros the day of, making sure everything was running smoothly, keeping us calm and ensuring that each moment was special. I wish we could go back and do it all over again!

My Husband and I were married in Sept 2023 at the Whiskey Factory. Words can't describe how perfect this venue is. It was the first (and last) venue we saw in person when we went looking for a venue two years prior. Alyssa and her team made us feel so welcome like we were a part of The Whiskey Factory family right away. They were very accommodating when my in-laws requested to see the venue in person, and when they tagged along for our drink tasting. It was quite the fiasco (for my husband and I) - but they took it in stride. The venue itself is everything we dreamed, modern, beautiful, a bit rugged, spacious; - the bathrooms were perfect for our party amount (~120) - and I loved that they had a cute little basket of last-minute needs in the women's bathroom. Our wedding day was a bit warm, but the upstairs was the perfect temperature even with all the dancing! All in all The Whiskey Factory team runs like a well-oiled machine and I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out.

I recently hosted a Halloween Happy Hour at the Whiskey Factory, and I can't express enough how delighted I am with the entire experience. From the moment we stepped through the doors, it was clear that this venue is a gem for hosting unforgettable celebrations. The bar service was seamless, and the bartenders were skilled in crafting a wide range of cocktails.Perhaps what impressed me most was the flexibility and willingness of the staff to accommodate us. They worked closely with us to create a personalized experience, ensuring that our event was unique and memorable.

Website and Instagram photos do not nearly begin to capture the rustic charm and timeless beauty of the whiskey factory. If you’re looking for a unique yet iconic wedding venue look no further than this Detroit gem.Located only a mile or less from the main hotels and minutes from highly sought after spots for photography the WF is the perfect place to host a Michigan wedding.Somehow even more impressive than the venue is the unique drink packages and extras offered AND more importantly the above and beyond support we received from the event staff while planning and executing the event.I wish I could get married there a million times over.

Great fun, informative and interesting tour. You get to see the whole facility with equipment, barrels aging and the upstairs party venue. The guides were friendly and good delivery of information and stories. Tried the bourbon and rye. They were generous to allow us to try two others. Great value and fun tour.

Just wow! I loved loved loved working with the Whiskey Factory and could not have asked for a better place to host my wedding! Not only is this one of the coolest venues in Detroit, the staff is amazing!! They were so helpful during the planning process and day of. I could not have asked for a better team and better venue. The drinks are also amazing! We went with three signature drinks for our wedding package and everyone could not stop talking about how good they were. Overall, the best day ever with the best team!

We had our wedding at the Whiskey Factory, and it was the wedding of my dreams. It was so dreamy and gorgeous, the lighting was so moody and romantic. The drinks were PHENOMENAL and kept flowing. The staff was super flexible and helpful. Such a unique experience to get married in an authentic working distillery. Bringing in our own vendors was a lot of work, but it was worth it in the end to have a wedding that felt so us. So happy we made this choice.

Having a wedding here was like a page out of a fairy tail. This place really does make your wedding dream become a reality.We got married in exactly 1 year to the day we were engaged. We were always adamant about having a Detroit wedding but weren’t sure where where to start. We came across the Whisky Factory and fell in love with it immediately. Booking it was one of the easiest and best decisions that we have ever made.Whether it was when we first secured our date, the constant communication and check-ins at certain points before the wedding to make sure we were as ready as could be, or the day of, there communication, insight, and efforts made for the perfect wedding. They have an amazing event team, but have to give a special shout-out to Bethany and Amelia for running the behind the scenes work the day of. Bethany was so helpful from the start with our tasting and helping us decide on which drinks would go best. Everyone is so kind and wants you to have everything you want and dream of on your special day.We are speechless by how beautiful the ceremony and reception turned out. Without the Whisky Factory and their amazing staff, we would not of had truly the most perfect wedding.You cannot beat this venue. If you book with them, they are also a distillery and make all of their spirits and cocktails in house. They also have partnered with two unique and we received so many compliments from our guests that it was the best food and cocktails that they had ever had at a wedding. We couldn’t have asked for anything better in a venue and we are so beyond happy that we chose them for our most special day.The Peterson’s

I had a great experience at this distillery. I didn't know they were closing. They do tours of the distillery and tastings. They were just finishing their last tour. Dante was sitting outside and saw me coming up and instantly gave me the red carpet treatment.I tried their traditional bourbon and learned about the four standards of bourbon. I tried a taster of their rye, straight bourbon, Irish whiskey, another bourbon, and a gin.I do not like gin and I bought a bottle of this and the Irish whiskey. I just want to thank Dante for his excellent customer service. Pretty sure I came at closing and he treated me like his first customer of the day.
