The Cochrane House is absolutely lovely! I'm looking for a reason to visit Detroit again just to stay here. The shared space is very warm and homey. The rooms are comfortable with a spa-like bathroom. I wish our plans would have allowed us to stay longer!
Walkability: We were visiting to attend a hockey game. Both the hockey arena and baseball stadium are a few blocks away on foot.

Absolutely perfect stay! We had the Rhythym Section Suite, and it was a sweet suite! Breakfast was amazing, Rica and Sina were delightful, and perfect location - close to the ballparks / nightlife.

Loved the stay at this hotel. Cina was our main host and was so awesome, she gave us care and love. I felt like an individual who was welcome to stay and I felt trusted. Wouldn't go anywhere else for close by events in the city of detroit. Beautiful view of the skyline and a beautiful home to stay in. I definitely say 5 star all the way and will come back for another suicideboy concert, or even our honeymoon. Thank you Cina and Rica... you two are amazing ?

Feels like a second home and a staycation. ?? When you walk in the room they had soft jazz music playing and everything (linens, room, etc.) smelled clean and fresh. Room was small (stayed in the Melodic room), but the bathroom was beautiful, the bed was AMAZING and we had a mini fridge. I stayed with a friend for the Sabrina Carpenter concert at Little Caesars Arena and it was only an 8min walk! The owners finished cleaning our room before 3 so we could check in early as well which was a HUGE plus and I really appreciated that. Would absolutely go back. THANK YOU ?
Walkability: Superb location. Ford Field is basically across the street. Little Caesars Arena is an 8-10min walk. There's plenty of crosswalks as well as others biking/running/walking so you feel pretty safe.

Walk to Comerica Park or Ford Field. The owners are fabulous and breakfast was delightful! The huge bathtub was a nice surprise

Very nice place. Friendly and professional staffing, excellent food, and right at home ambiance.
Nearby activities: Right outside of Downtown Detroit in the newly developed Brush Park area. Walking distance to Ford Field, Comercia Park, and other prominent venues.

I was at the venue for a surprise birthday party for a good friend. The parking was excellent and directly across from the hotel. The staff was very welcoming and warm. The site was centrally located with an amazing backdrop of the Detroit skyline and stadium area . The food service was first rate. Lamb chops chicken wings mashed potatoes with enough fixings to qualify as loaded a wonderful salad offering along with numerous dessert offerings. The decor was modern an airy with a hint to the historical or visa versa. Repurposed wood tables along with finished floors provide you with the right historical touches. Artwork with purpose abounds.
Nearby activities: From what I can see EVERYTHING is nearby. Ford Field Comerica and I would presume the Fox theatre. Everything feels safe and right.
Walkability: Walkability to sporting and entertainment venues is exceptional without being cookie cutter

PHENOMENAL EXPERIENCE! Celebrated my 60th bday in March, and My King & I had a wonderful time! Immaculate, clean, and the " room side" service was second to NONE!????

My partner and I had a wonderful stay. The rooms were well-designed and incredibly comfortable, making us feel right at home. Breakfast was delicious, the hosts were both attentive and kind, making sure we had everything we needed. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!

What a wonderful place to stay. It is in the perfect location for walking to any of the venues and places to eat Detroit has to offer. Rica & Cina are the sweetest and make sure you have everything you need. Also a wonderful breakfast is provided. Can't wait to stay again!

Had a wonderful stay while attending a concert at Ford Field. Extremely close to Ford Field and Coamerica Park, 5 minute walk. Many places to sit and relax and very welcoming and clean. Definitely recommend!!

Hospitality was exceptional! Rica and Cina are so warm-hearted, and it definitely reflects within the home they’ve built at the Cochrane House. They also make a bomb breakfast and have the comfiest bed I have ever slept in. Definitely coming back anytime we’re in the area, especially because the location is walking distance to the big venues in Detroit. ?
