“ALDI hmm!!
All I can say is; please check the dates on your fruit packaging.
I love fruit. But I didn’t get the chance to look at the expiration date on my cantaloupe package; and it was out of date, and spoiled.”

“I can't remember the lady that helped me out. I was in there, doing instacart. And it was few items that I couldn't find she stopped what she was doing to help me. She was very pleasant, and so nice. The cashier, on the other hand terrible attitude. You all want people to come in there and frequent your store. But you all need to check your cashiers, they have attitude problems they don't like to answer your questions, they always frown up. You say hi, it its a very low dry high.”

“I love this store found out about it when my daughter came to Detroit to attend Wayne State University. Since then I travel hour and 15 minutes to come shop here”

“Just a small neighborhood store that stocks basic items. One plus is that they had paper goods available when the larger chains were completely out.One minus is the lack of pharmacutical items like sleep aids, vitamins or cold medicines.”

“If you need a hard to almost impossible item or ingredient for your authentic Mexican dish, then you need to head to Algo Especial. This is a store that I have visited with my mom for those family recipes that needed that Especial ingredients and we could only find them here. Their tamales are the best in all southwest Detroit.”

“We had a great experience here on July 6th 2024. Had the chicken quesadilla (9/10), shrimp soft tacos (6/10) and chicken crunch wrap (7.5/10). Overall one of the best Mexican meals we’ve had so far in the Detroit area! This place is a food truck with a covered dining area located in the parking lot of a grocery store. We will definitely be back!”

“Had to delete my last review for this store due to getting confused and reviewing Pri nce Valley Market instead. This place Garden Fresh is good if you want to get in and get out. The ladies at the cash registered are extremely friendly. They don't honor their own sales papers. Meat looks old and smells. It's ok but not a great store. Way over priced on everything.”

“Love the improvement's, cashier's are very friendly, recycling doesn't accept Faygo bottles or energy drinks, do not recycle glass. Recycling after 11am, not after 5pm.”

“It's clean and well kept the some of the groceries are a little expensive sometimes you have to check for the expiration date on produce in dairy and other stuff in the store”

“Amazing store, always clean and their prices are cheap especially compared to the other places around. Food Farm is the only store I will shop at. They truly care about their customers. They also have an outstanding meat department. They did not have the coffee that I wanted and one of the kind workers ordered it for me, something no other store in the area would do.”

“Some of there cashier's are cool down to earth just real ppl that actually care about customer service you can tell the ones that do it's usually clean & for the most part always got what I need Veggies could be fresher but it's better than what most would expect”

“The good thing about the supermarket is just right around the corner from my house I don't have to drive all the way to Walmart they're a little more expensive but closer sometimes you have to compromise”

“My go to grocery store, located in the neighborhood, close to Wayne State University. Deli with cooked foods, salads and desserts. I've been a customer for more than 25 yrs! Watched the store owner's son grow up. Family owned and operated!”

3.5 Good81 Reviews

“The owner or managers are not people friendly towards thier customers, as one of the only grocery stores in the area, they are decent with meat products and selection of other goods, staff if great”

“The entry doors have motion detector for easy assisted entrance. The aisles are spacious with a sufficient variety of products and produce. There are plenty check out lanes with attendants. The merchandise are displayed organized presentable without any apparent damage or disorder. Quite impressive grocery store they operate.”

“This Meijer's is a clean and nice place to shop. I don't frequent this chain because they are a little more expensive than where I regularly shop but I will shop here for some select items every now and then. I feel safe and secure shopping here.”

3.5 Good204 Reviews

“It's a smidge smaller with a bit less food variety than the other Meijers in the area, but it's perfectly good and still has more variety (and better prices) than smaller local grocery stores.

They need to reopen the fitting rooms. If I wanted to buy clothes without trying them on, I'd shop online. The employee who was working near the former fitting rooms looked shocked when I handed her the items I wanted to try on saying I didn't want to buy without trying on first. The sign says it's because of covid but come on, nobody has restrictions anymore. Just pay well enough that you can have the staff to run the rooms.”

“One of the few decent and affordable grocery stores in the Detroit area. Area itself outside may seem a bit dirty, but inside the store they keep things clean and have very good items at discounts. Definitely better than spending $15.99 at the Whole Foods for the same quality item here for $5.”

“Went for Starbucks and grabbed a few items from the market. The market was very clean and everyone I asked for help, greeted me before I asked. Very nice and clean and Starbucks always awesome.”
