It’s pretty hard to pick a worst gas station in Detroit but the fact these folks have a bunch of broken pumps that they refuse to fix puts them towards the top of the list for sure.

Arguably the busiest/quickest service gas station/convenience store in the area. Wide selection of beverages and snacks to chose from. I love the selection of tobacco products the store carries. Also the man behind the counter is one of the most friendly people you can ever meet he goes by the name of "Jack" everyone seems to know the man behind the counter referring to the place as "jacks" instead of the name "Sunoco". I had to try this place out for the fresh daily made subs and I also recommend you try the Italian sub it is my favorite and has become a daily lunch for me as it is not to pricey and amazing quality! My co workers were the reason I chose this place and and boy were they right about this hidden gem. I definitely recommend this place to everyone that is in the area. Fast and extremely friendly service and good deals especially for a pricey area in downtown Detroit. Hours: Monday-Friday 6:00-9:00 Saturday 9-around 6 Sunday closed.

Prices are way out of whack. You will pay a premium if you get gas here. You will also be looking over Your shoulder the whole time. I'm telling you if you are staying in this area at a hotel, i wouldn't go unless it's broad daylight with a lot of people. I definitely never stopped here at night.

Located across from the Doubletree hotel, pretty convenient if you are staying there. Seems like a lot of local come here since they all know the guy behind the counter. They have tons of non-alcoholic beverage options, snacks, frozen and instant food. It's a small convenient store, but they manage to stock a lot of inventory. Some non-food items that I've seen here includes: Kleenex, envelopes, cat food, cleaning supplies, OTC meds, paper plates, plastic utensils, envelops, and motor oils.
